K Josh Brown suspended for Cowboys game

Its true, this suspension is used as a way to setup the Zeke suspension for 10 games that the League is about to announce. Mara told Goodell to suspend their kicker for fussing at his wife at one of their kids' soccer games to show impartiality and set the tone for Zeke. The Zeke suspension will be announced tomorrow. Goodell is a Mara yes-man. You heard it here first.

If what i read was right he was arrested. That will be the difference. I would not be shocked though. I also fully expect the opening week of the season for all the national media to have something new on the zeke issue.

just read why he was suspended. Apparently it was for domestic violence from last year. I guess he grabbed a hold of a girl by the wrist and she called 911 and he was arrested. Must be more to it than that.

I have to laugh, every nfl writer last year and this spring used the cowboys as a punchline and now basically every team has a player suspended for Substance abuse, DV or PED's. The falcons had to kick a guy off the team because he raped two women and I didn't even see ESPN mention it.

So this means that last year while the NY media were all high and mighty they had preston parker dealing cocaine and Josh Brown was arrested for domestic violence and they didn't release that info. Interesting how that works, throw in the fact that they had to release moore because he was a locker room cancer and it seems pretty odd espn and others haven't pointed all this out....just kidding no it doesn't.

Hard to believe something like that didn't get out, I know he's just a kicker, but it's still DV.

NFL suspended Giants K Josh Brown one game for violating the league's personal-conduct policy.

We have no idea what Brown did to earn this ban, as his name hasn't been in the news in years. Tom Obarski is the other kicker on the Giants' roster, and he could handle kicking duties Week 1 before Brown returns for Week 2.

They got two more to go then to make up for our 3 guys suspended.

This could be huge, even though we have the worst kicker luck ever. I don't have any stats to support it -- but kickers FG% against us HAS to be among the highest in the NFL.

Last season:
Dallas FG% against: 83.3%
League Average FG% against: 84.5%

Cuz this is the Cowboys we are talking about. The same team that lost cap money for a contract that was approved by the league, and somehow violated the cap in a year without a cap. I fully expect Zeke to be suspended for several games a few days before the opening game.
