They are one of the best teams in the league. Kareem Hunt is the best RB in the league right now.

Good team. Another team that has stockpiled talent via many years worth of very high draft picks. Reid is a good coach, much better than ours, but I can't think KC doesn't flame out in the playoffs like always no matter how good a season they have.

I don't think they have many players from high draft picks (which was like 5-6 years ago).

If McNabb didn't choke, they most likely would have won a SB.. I wouldn't call his teams a 'fools gold type team'.. a lot of his teams are over-achievers as opposed to fools gold, a testimony to his pretty decent coaching..

Pretty much how I felt about Schottenheimer. People say his teams choked in the playoffs, I thought they overachieved getting to the positions they did.

(This isn't a jab at Zeke)

It's crazy to see how fast RB's can adapt to the NFL, no matter what round they are picked in.
Boatload of RBs seem to come in each year and instantly become very good to great backs their first year.
Just looking at some of the top backs in the game, you got the Gurleys and Zekes taken in round 1, but there isn't too much dropoff in production from the guys taken from 2-5 for example.

What do you think it would take to get him coaching again? Dude was the only person who didn't take **** from Snyder.

Chiefs are playing great right now. And Andy is a terrific coach.

It's a long season, though. At this point last year, the Vikes were closing in on 5-0 and looked like a team to beat in the NFC. Not so much.

Reid teams usually sprint out fast to start the season then become average as the year goes on.

It pissed me seeing how the offense was creative with play calling, using players to their strengths and everything. Just very opposite of Cowboys football.

It's not how you start but how you finish.
Chiefs looking stout for sure but if they meet New England in the playoffs I know where my money is going

Problem for the Chiefs is their D is not good enough to make up for when Smith cannot make a play.

I always thought Reid was a good coach. I couldn't believe it, and honestly was thrilled, when the Eagles let him go. I'd have taken him in Dallas.

Anyways, I think the Chiefs look legit. They're playing some very sound football. Anything can happen in the playoffs but right now it appears they have a good chance.

Reid is a really good coach if you ignore his inability to manage the clock in close 4th quarter situations. He's appalling at that and never got better for some bizarre reason, but outside that big blind spot he's really good at everything from offensive game planning to roster building and motivation.

You can't just hang his Super Bowl loss on McNabb choking, because the Chiefs repeated the exact same kind of screw-up in the playoffs against the Patriots again in like 2015 or something.

The way the Chiefs are playing this year, he won't have to come back from down 10 with 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter very often though.

They were a SB contender last season IMO. If not for that ugly call vs Pittyburger (which gave them a new set of downs inside KC's 10), the Chiefs would have won & therefore advanced to play the Brady Bunch. KC would of beaten the Pats, not lose to them like Pittsburger. We wouldn't be sitting here hating on the Pats had it not been for that call during that playoff game. We all seen what Reid has done to the Pats from the starting gate of this season. I hope Reid takes them all the way just to slug it to Jeffrey Lurie and his nest. :muttley:

Andy Reid, Super Genius, comes crashing back to earth. What a surprise. :muttley:

"Week 11’s draw of the Giants looked like a cherry spot — Andy Reid off a bye week, ready to cut up the quitting, quarreling New York defense. The game quickly went off script; KC was flat for three hours en route to a 12-9, overtime loss.

Ah, but surely Buffalo would fix things in Week 12. The Bills had allowed 101 points in their previous two games, getting embarrassed by the Saints and Chargers. This had “get-well spot” written all over it.

Apparently the Chiefs never got the memo, because they stunk all through Sunday’s 16-10 loss to Buffalo. The KC offense played like 11 guys who met for the first time right before kickoff."

I expected them to slow down, but instead they've melted down.

Shades of the 2011 Eagles "dream team" that ended up 8-8.
