Kaepernick is a good QB. But he has some obvious flaws that are masked due to an unreal defense and one heckuva running game. Here's hoping Romo has an even better O line and a healthy Murray all season long. I'd still take Gemini Dolly's favorite QB over Kap!

Our guy has been fulfilling his deal. I feel much better about Romo than many a 49er fan feels about Kaper. Lots of Red/Gold dead money! See people. All the teams are going to deal with this. And Dallas just may have a guy playing QB on a rookie deal for a few years. It would be smart to not backlog some of the big deals when you are paying a rookie deal QB. That way we can keep players and play in FA

This is part of the reason why I explained to people that Romo's contract was extremely team friendly. This is the basic going rate for quarterbacks now.

To have a better situation than Romo who is getting base money for a franchise QB, you'd have to hit the jackpot on a QB in the draft and you'd still end up having to pay them 4 years later...

People who keep griping about Romo seriously don't know what they're talking about.

Did Eli get his contract before or after the second super bowl? I want to see if any team has success under one of these deals.

Im in Niner country and alot of their fans feel the same way most feel about the Romo deal. Too much

Im with you, the rest of the team suffers when one player recieves that much money. The reason they were good is because they put their financial resources into the rest of the team while the qb was under his rookie deal. Now we should start to see the erotion begin.
