A stress fracture in his foot kept Frazier from doing anything but the bench press (18 reps) at the Combine but patience is nothing new for this Chippewa who didn't emerge as a full-time starter until his senior campaign. Despite this fact, Frazier recorded 269 stops over his career, showing the heavy hitting and reliable open-field tackling so critical for success when playing as the last line of defense or on special teams (where he's excelled). Frazier has seven meetings with clubs and two workouts planned. At his pro day, Frazier was clocked between 4.48 and 4.55 seconds in the 40-yard dash, had a 40.5-inch vertical and a 10-8 broad jump as well as 6.96 second 3-cone -- results similar or better than virtually all of the free safeties in this class, almost all of whom are at least 10 pounds lighter than the well-built Frazier. He is currently viewed as a sixth-round prospect by NFLDraftScout.com but scouts think he could come off the board a round or two earlier.
