I honestly had no idea Anthony Fasano was still in the NFL.

I do think it's interesting that although they never did much for us, both Marty B and Fasano went on to be productive players elsewhere. Testament to both the scouts and witten I guess.

First time in 50 years, where a team had no touchdown passes to wide receivers.

All hail Alex Smith.

You have to give the genius Andy Reid some credit for that as well. He made sure to secure that mark in week 17 when Alex Smith did not play and the Chiefs went with Chase Daniel.

Does Reid have GM duties in KC like he did in Philly?

The problem is when you take a TE in the 2nd round those guys expect to start sooner than later.

I would say that if we still had Marty B today, we would be the number one offense in the league. He was a great run blocker surrounded by a crap line. Put him here today and we are really really great. But he'd be a luxury, not a need.

Fasano may end up in Cincinnati. They are supposed to not be bringing Gresham back, and there are only a few TE's in this draft worthy of selecting in top 3 rounds from what I read.
Bengals have a TE, but will need depth.

Fasano and MB had the bad luck of being behind a HOF, just as Escobar does. But at least Escobar has contributed. More so in the red zone than any previous back up TE's.

Bowe either dropped a TD pass or someone caught one but it was brought back by penality in that game if I recall.

But crappy production from the coaching regimes...we're still seeing it with Escobar.

Dallas was one of the top offenses in the league this past season. The completed 69% of their passes. What more do people want?

When a player is buried on the food chain and doesn't produce I guess someone needs to be held accountable.

How about that valuable pick not be wasted in the first place? If you're going to waste a 2nd rounder on a 2nd TE, you better incorporate him into your offense. Resources could have been used elsewhere, no?. That is all tbh. They were a good albeit simple offense that won their match ups due to better talent (Dez/Witt). Romo was sharp but also conservative with the ball.
