Keeping Pace with the Giants

I was just glancing at the up-coming schedules. The current combined record of the Cowboys' first 6 opponents is 6-6. For the Giants, 2-10.

The giants will be 6-1 or 7-0 when we play them.

They have cupcakes early and a tougher schedule late. They are going to run way out in front in this division.

We just need to not fall to far behind.

Yeah the scheduling sucks but to be the champs, you should be able to handle any opponent (weaker or stronger).

It would be nice to be a good team and have a cupcake schedule..cough (cheatriots) cough...

Still that BATTLE ROYALE last night makes for good/nerve racking entertainment.

we get past Green Bay and it will be a nice smooth ride for us until we face the Giants....at worse we will be 6-2....very likely 7-1....and not out of the realm of possibilty to be 8-0. In other words....there is no hangover from last year....we will be a playoff team...and we SHOULD have a first round bye

If we beat GB then we have the Skins and Bengals at home, then Rams/Cards away then TB at home just before Giant game. Should be able to keep pace with them.

Agreed. This week is going to be very difficult.

The packers felt like they beat themselves last year and they yapped and yapped about dallas didnt beat them.

They are going to be through the roof emotionally. I think after last night we are going to have a hard time matching that emotional level, so we will have to be very good.

I cant see them getting anywhere near romo and i think that can keep us in the game. Another very difficult game.

After last night, you have to be concerned about this weeks game. I agree with several others here that this game is going to be very difficult. You think they might target Watkins?
