Keith Brooking stands up to Steve Dennis

Because my part time job, at times, allows me to sit and listen to the radio, I listen to 105.3. I wish that Keith Brooking would call in and put those idiots in their place.

If Brooking had something to say, he should've said it with his play on the field Sunday, especially when Jacobs was making his slow-motion 75 yard TD.

Fluke plays. Just like the ones in the first Giant game, right?

Those weren't fluke plays anymore than the Ravens having back to back 70 or 80 yard runs was. Those were massive breakdowns in the D and ST. Which we've seen repeatedly when crunch time hits, and will continue to see as long as we have moron head coaches hired by our glory hungry owner.

What is odd is how you predicted 16-0, then collapse, then jumped back on the bandwagon.

I'm here. Inconsistently, but rarely a week goes by when I don't post. And I post more to comment on the rampant homerism - such as this thread - because I find it inconceivable any rational person could think that way when we witness these same guys crumble every December. Most noticably the jelly roll wearing the headset on Sundays.

Yet Dennis is the bad guy for pointing out the obvious.

I understood that circumventing the language filter meant a ban. I guess that rule doesn't apply to the over-the-top homer club.

No, those who don't know what they're talking about get angry at the media for noticing how this team collapses every single year. Brooking can't handle the truth. He's a good guy and still a good player, but he's saddled with a bunch of losers who can't handle the pressure of must-win games.

Most people can see what's coming the next 4 games from a mile away. Perhaps I'd be more at peace with the Cowboys if I couldn't.

This team just gave up a 74 yard fluke TD pass to Brandon Jacobs and a rare PR TD.

Both fluke plays IMO. If those two plays don't happen then everyone is on the Wade bandwagon.

I was upset when we lost but I got over it in about 10 minutes.

The people still doom and glooming it need to sack up!!

It's the NFL!! It's a tough league! Ask the Steelers and Pats!

I'm not even remotely for a second going to defend the travesty of a PC after the game, but we got beat.

To call it just two fluke plays is Wade-ism at its finest.

They stuffed the run on us better than anyone has all season. Unbelievably so actually, they manhandled our OL. They pressured Romo just enough. They drove down the field just before the half and scored on 5 plays in just over a minute. Because of that, there was the Barber fumble and then they scored another TD. There was another huge run from Bradshaw that set up a FG.

If anything the first game was almost more flukey with the strange INT off Wittens heel.

We're going to have to play a heck of a lot better than that on EVERY play, not just one or two, if we are going to have any shot the next two weeks.

Just as I was a 12-2 team 2 years ago, when it was obvious the wheels were coming off. Yet the board was well-stocked with homers who scoffed at the "sky is falling" crowd.

What will be your excuse this year? The refs? The schedule? Or last year's flavor, injuries?

Ya I've been down on this team, but I also saw this team show heart at Philly and take that win.

Look at it from this perspective.

We are first in our division. What else do you want?

cool part - Keith calling out one of the regular ****** media guys in Dallas on tv.

sad part - a player finally stands up to the media for his team and it just so happens to be the new guy.

It could spark the team to play with passion and intensity but I won't hold my breathe waiting for that to happen.

I wouldn't have a problem going to war with any fan who has stuck with the Dallas Cowboys over the last 13 years and I don't see how on earth anyone could justify calling them bandwagon fans. If anything, with our track record during that span, they are the truest fans you could find.
