Awesome.

Now prove to us you want to win so Wade doesn't have to answer questions about the team collapsing in December because the team he's in control has just won a crucial game against the Chargers.

And don't think for one second that this will do anything more than give the media an even bigger story next if the Cowboys come out on Sunday and choke against the Chargers.

I like Brooking. But I hope he's ready to back up this talk with some walk. He didn't have a good game on Sunday. And he better hope he plays a lot better this Sunday because if not he's going to be the target next Monday, not Wade.

What I hate about this.

Brooking is new here and he's fallen into the trap. Now he's fighting with the media. I didn't see this team bond all that great last season when some players began fighting with the media so why would I think it's going to help this season?

Is there ever going to come a day when the Cowboys main opponent if the next team on the schedule? I hope so.

Fighting two battles every week while the opposing team is only fighing one puts the Cowboys in a awkward spot. And recent history proves they not only lose the battles, but also the war.

I understood that circumventing the language filter meant a ban. I guess that rule doesn't apply to the over-the-top homer club.

No, those who don't know what they're talking about get angry at the media for noticing how this team collapses every single year. Brooking can't handle the truth. He's a good guy and still a good player, but he's saddled with a bunch of losers who can't handle the pressure of must-win games.

Most people can see what's coming the next 4 games from a mile away. Perhaps I'd be more at peace with the Cowboys if I couldn't.

your understanding of the language filter is as bad as your understanding of football and how it has to play out each season. just type the word you need to use, if the filter doesnt like it, the word will have asterisks. no circumventing at all, just letting the filter do what it's made to do.
the Boys may falter this december, if they do it's not because they faltered last december.
why is it so hard to understand that ?

Actually the filter worked as it was supposed to,

And you understood wrong, we don't ban for simply violating the language filter. If we banned as much as people thought we did, there wouldn't be a site. *smh*

I wouldn't have a problem going to war with any fan who has stuck with the Dallas Cowboys over the last 13 years and I don't see how on earth anyone could justify calling them bandwagon fans. If anything, with our track record during that span, they are the truest fans you could find.

What the hell have we had to celebrate?

Yet, I keep coming back for more, I have no choice, they have my heart.
I am talking about the ones who in the first quarter are saying "it's over."

Get a grip.

Keep it coming, #51, I'll have another helping.

Great speech. Love the enthusiasm. But Wade's butt is still out of here after this season. :)

Seriously, though, if Wade is fired, you'll start hearing the other side of the story from some of the players. That never fails.

Ya I've been down on this team, but I also saw this team show heart at Philly and take that win.

Look at it from this perspective.

We are first in our division. What else do you want?
What you saw in Philly was 2 teams play a not very good game. One of them happened to win. No one can turn their nose up at a division win, but that was hardly a breakthrough performance. They've played far better in other games this season.

The Cowboys have had one of the easiest schedules in the league. They have one of the toughest to finish. I don't see better than 2-2 to finish, meaning 10-6. 10-6 against a fairly easy schedule, and a team that has arguably played one reasonably solid game over the course of the last month.

They managed to find a way to lose to a Giant team that had won one game in about 2 months. I don't see it getting much better. If they lose Sunday, they might as well make their vacation plans for early January.

That fighting isn't the same as the fighting that took place last year. The situations are very different.

Brooking is a team leader and motivator and I suspect a lot of players look up to him a ton. He's a tough son-of-a-gun and a team first player.

He's not a HOF caliber player. But then, there are already a bunch of guys in there who weren't either.

I think if he gets a ring here, and plays a couple more productive years, I think he's gotta be a candidate at least?

You get a grip dude, your tone was right in line with those who get their panties in a wad over anyone who thinks we're not going 16-0 or has the audacity to criticize this team

Because you obviously don't understand it.

Wade Phillips and most of the guys on this roster have a history of failing late in the season and playoffs. At some point, you can't chalk that up to bad luck anymore and have to accept that they can't handle the pressure, or they're failing miserably in preparing for a long season.

Just as I was a 12-2 team 2 years ago, when it was obvious the wheels were coming off. Yet the board was well-stocked with homers who scoffed at the "sky is falling" crowd.

What will be your excuse this year? The refs? The schedule? Or last year's flavor, injuries?

my excuse will be the same thing i always say....im a Cowboys fan....win or lose....if they didnt win a game all season i would still be a Cowboys fan and would still have their backs.....see i am a football fan, i cherish every game win or lose, and i realize that they dont owe me anything and understand that only one team wins it all every season......people like you are not fans of the game you are fans of trophies.....and like most spoiled kids when you dont get one you kick your feet and scream and blame everyone......its a good thing you werent born in Detroit, Carolina, Philly, Ohio, San Diego, Houston,Minn, tenn, Jacksonville,Arizona. or Seattle....cause you probably wouldnt even watch football.cause theyve never won squat.......so quit feeling sorry for your self, spit out your pacifier and MAN UP.....

And Terrell Owens wasn't?

All we heard from players after he was cut was how he was a team player and that so many guys looked up to him and that he helped motivate them.

The situations are not all that different.

I didn't question anyone's fanhood. Did I?

What are the French known for? Surrender.

If you felt some guilt or a finger pointing at you that isn't my fault. I named no one.

I just uploaded it.

I think as some were saying here, the media may have actually lit a fuse here....or it may just be brooking defending his personal friend, either way...

Give it a few minutes guys, its transcoding because I just uploaded it.

Brooking should take his stance onto the internet and tell some fans to **** off as well.

Bless you for posting that video, theebs.

Terrell Owens is a team first player? His battle with the media was about him. Brooking's is about Wade. Different.
