What are the French known for? Surrender.

If you felt some guilt or a finger pointing at you that isn't my fault. I named no one.
this team has been waving the white flag every year since 1997. we just opened up our toughest month of the season with a loss. why should people think it's gonna be different all of a sudden? everybody here wants it to be different but a good amount doesn't think it will be based on the last 12 years.

You know what frustrates me to no end.......my two favorite teams, the Cowboys and the Spurs, when they lose, it is gutwrenching and heartbreaking. It isn't like they are getting lamb basted or completely annihilated....no. These games are close nailbiters that go down to the wire, but my teams find ways to lose the games instead of ways to win the games.

At least Dallas is 8-4, but those 4 loses could easily be 4 wins if just 2 plays in each game go our way.

The Spurs are 9-9, but seem to completely melt down in the final minute and lose by 2-5 points each time. Right now they are quite unclutch. BTW, they kind of remind me of the Texans. They get a big lead at some point during the game, only to give it and the game away. I miss my clutch Spurs, from 2003-07.

I wasn't pointing a finger at you either, so if you feel guilt don't blame me.

I was just asking a question. I don't feel guilt over my attitude towards this team. you know how emotional I am when it comes to this team.

my excuse will be the same thing i always say....im a Cowboys fan....win or lose....if they didnt win a game all season i would still be a Cowboys fan and would still have their backs.....see i am a football fan, i cherish every game win or lose, and i realize that they dont owe me anything and understand that only one team wins it all every season......people like you are not fans of the game you are fans of trophies.....and like most spoiled kids when you dont get one you kick your feet and scream and blame everyone......its a good thing you werent born in Detroit, Carolina, Philly, Ohio, San Diego, Houston,Minn, tenn, Jacksonville,Arizona. or Seattle....cause you probably wouldnt even watch football.cause theyve never won squat.......so quit feeling sorry for your self, spit out your pacifier and MAN UP.....
I wasn't born in any NFL city. What that has to do with me enjoying watching football is beyond me. If you're the type who wants to go to a game with no shirt on and a star painted on your chest when it's 10 below, knock yourself out.

Being a fan doesn't mean you have to check your common sense at the door, except evidently some fans think that it does. Like yourself.

My favorite years haven't all been SB years. I enjoyed the Jimmy Johnson rebuilding years tremendously. You could see the team progressing annually under Johnson. Under Jones and Phillips, it's anything but. Phillips' incompetence and Jones' ego pretty much assure me that this team isn't going anywhere. Jones is trying to manage the team in such a manner that he'll get the credit for its success. Of course, it won't really have any with him at the helm, so the Cowboys - and us fans - are stuck in a vicious cycle. And it won't change unless Jones dies or is forced to face the humiliation of empty seats and blackouts.

Dallas is competitive right now for 2 reasons: 1) Parcells rebuilt the joke of a roster Jerry Jones had put together as of 2003 and 2) Jerry Jones can shell out huge $$$ to get FA or to resign better players, when there are about 10 NFL teams that can't or won't.

This is also the same bunch that puckers up every December. Just like we saw in the total team loss on Sunday. And I hate to say it, but I think it's extraordinarily likley we'll see more of the same the next month. If that's too much for your super fandom to accept, well, I guess we'll both just have to live with that.

Terrell Owens is a team first player? His battle with the media was about him. Brooking's is about Wade. Different.

It's not different and you will see that in the next few weeks.

Keith Brooking just put a huge target on his back just like T.O. did last season.

If this team loses on Sunday there will be 50 media people at Brookings locker looking for his answer to this question...

"Keith, so far you guys are 0-2 in December. It looks like once again the Cowboys are collapsing. But you are sure there is nothing wrong with the mindset of this team under Wade's leadershsip and you are sure Wade can lead you guys to some wins over the last three games? You guys had the Giants on the ropes and had a home game against the Chargers and lost both outings. So why should the fans be confident?"

I am ultra careful when answering your questions because it seems I offend you so easily. Your responses to me in this thread already have me walking on eggshells so I don't step on glass toes.

Like hell it is, but it does show the rest of the world your subconscious thoughts on the matter. Translation: We'll always suck in December, I told you so.

Brooking should take his stance onto the internet and tell some fans to **** off as well.

Bless you for posting that video, theebs.
Steve Dennis ripped for pointing out the truth.

And Brooking lauded for not liking that Dennis pointed out the truth to the Hostess Twinkie at his embarrassment of a PC.

Not much different that Extreme Skins before the majority of them realized that their organization is in a black hole with Snyder and Cerrato running the show.

Classic.

no that I am comparing the two, but didnt pierce and strahan go after the media down the stretch in 07, or was that 06?

Remember they played that game about not being able to cover tight ends, then strahan was really rude to a female reporter...

was that 07 or 06.

Either way, we all know keith has rubbed off well on this team and I bet they will all see this or hear about it.

If anyone blames that loss on that "mindset of the team" then they don't know what they're talking about anyway. Keith stood up for his coach that is taking an unfair beating after a loss that wasn't his fault. T.O. didn't like being called out for what he was: a cancer who causes locker room problems.

Answer: they can feel whatever they want, they don't put on the pads for the game. Next question...

That was their Super Bowl run. But it is bad form to compare us to the Giants of 2007 ever. Say we suck and can't ever fix anything and wear a beret.

you don't offend me you're just very annoying and I can't help but to ask why you say some of the things you say. for example

you're constant whining about the fans. with the loss to the Giants(the 1st game in December this year) can you really blame anyone for thinking they are going to blow it again?

or you saying you'd rather have the Giants win so we mantain a 1 game lead over the eagles. yeah just what we want the Giants to have the best division record while being only 1 game behind us with easy games left on their schedule. you want the Giants gone. the Packers are most likely gonna get a wildcard. that leaves Dallas,Philly and NYG fighting for 2 playoff spots(NFCE and wildcard) both NY and Philly have easy schedules especially compared to ours for the remainder of the season. If Philly beats NY that gives them 6 losses which means if they lose any game after Philly they're finished barring another huge collapse from us. I was shocked when you said you wanted the Giants to win causde that's just stupid for someone who knows as much as you do or so you say.

Might as well put on some track shoes, throw away any deodorant, grab a few coupons for cigarettes, and get ready to sprint to the setting sun as soon as someone with a German accent comes within 150 kilometers of the border.
