Substitute Wheaton for Weeden and people will understand my reaction after watching one pass erased all momentum for Dallas Sunday.
We will start Weeden. We should start Weeden. Either Weeden will play within the offensive scheme his ability allows him to be successful (Dink & Dunk 101). Or he will dig his own grave, which Cassel will walk over willingly. It would not surprise me if that opportunity happens as early as this Sunday during the game.
In my opinion, Moore is the emergency quarterback option for the foreseeable future. Then again, I've watched a lot of football in my time. It wouldn't shock me seeing Weeden and Cassel removed from the same game due to injury and watch Moore get his shot. Wouldn't shock me one bit.
GREAT! another "start Moore!" thread.
why do we think he's any better? because we know better than the coaches, right?

The board was loaded with start Dustin Vaughan threads after Weeden's performance vs AZ last season. Romo's status was still up in the air for JAX and most were screaming to start Vaughan an undrafted rookie free agent developmental project who had only had 4 preseason games on his NFL resume. That's the lack of sense that some bring to these discussion boards. Moore's name is only coming up because FANS want anyone but Weeden starting. Most are acting like Weeden played atrocious on Sunday when he only had 4 incompletions and made one poor decision that led to a pick. He did what the Cowboys asked him to do. In his 33 attempts this season he's completed 29 of them for 305 yards and a TD with a passer rating of 102.7 but for some strange reason some here think Moore who hasn't taken a regular season NFL snap and didn't even go to training camp with the Cowboys couldn't do any worse. LOL
No one is happy with Brandon Weeden but his performance last week didn't warrant him being benched for an inexperienced QB who hasn't taken a regular season snap. For crying out loud the Cowboys are leading their division at 2-1 and some are already pushing the panic button wanting to put our season on the shoulders of an inexperienced QB who couldn't even keep his backup job in Detroit. Now is not the time to be making any foolish moves at QB if things don't go well with Weeden the next couple of weeks put Cassel in at least he has experience and has 32 wins on his resume.
they would be begging for Weeden back if Moore made a start.

Lol...That was the whole idea of the original OP...Guess no one got it. Weeden is better in relief than starting.
no, that's probably more stupid, actually.
