Did you see him whiff yet again on that Marshall TD? This guy is pathetic. I don't care who you put in there, he could not possibly be any worse than Hamlin.

Let's bench all of the starters.

All the backups should become starters now.

yeah...that's the ticket.

Hamlin is the biggest piece of trash on the defense!

At least Roy 31 would have tackled him....Hamlin does nothing!

When your QB of the secondary sucks it pretty much spells it out!

Oh my bad. You're right, Hamlin's been great.

Did anywhere in my post say he was great? I said Hamlin wasn't the only Cowboy to miss a tackle. There were 5 Cowboys around Marshall to make a play, might as well cut all of them with your line of thinking...

His backup is a pro-bowler who is sure to come in and start right out of the gate without making mistakes.

You want to bench someone long term, you better have someone backing him up that is better.

Maybe the other hamlin will work out down the road or we get another FS via the draft of FA but we are not going to be better at that spot by benching Hamlin right now and to think so is kind of silly and mostly emotions speaking.

Meanwhile..

Pat Watkins still sucks.

I saw you Pat. You stunk it up in there w/ Sensy out.

Now you're putting words in my mouth. Did I say bench or cut everybody? Ken Hamlin stunk all of last year and has picked up where he left off so far this year. He needs to take a seat, but I know it ain't gonna happen.

I thought Spencer had a pick 6 in the first half. If only our defense could catch a football. WTH?

Actually, he did us a favor. Denver was in perfect position to bleed the clock for a last second FG. Instead, they scored too quickly (thanks to sloppy tackling), giving Romo and the O enough time to almost tie the game.

Watkins is never going to be very good SS, but he is capable of making plays from time to time at FS. That is more than you can say about Hamlin.

Hamlin reeks, on every level. Letting opposing teams score quickly is not much of a positive.

Exactly. I was hoping he would just get the TD then and get it over with so we would at least have a chance with a little time. If only we could execute.

I think Hamlin has consistently played poorly since last year. I don't know if a backup would be better but I feel like some kind of message needs to be sent to wake this team up and I think Hamlin is a good start. Even if its for a quarter or a game. Do something to wake this team up.

If you want to bench Hamlin, bench Newman too.
