Ken Hamlin's availability for Sunday? Not so good. Victor Butler's? Looks like he will be good to go.
Hamlin did not practice Wednesday with his high right ankle sprain and coach Wade Phillips said Hamlin's chance of playing against the New York Giants is "very iffy." Phillips said Butler told him he was sore after the practice but "it looks like he'll be all right."
The players went through a practice at Cowboys Stadium because of the snow and rain in shoulder pads as Phillips attempted to get the timing back after the Thanksgiving break. It came after the defense held its morning walkthrough in the locker room and the offense had its in the cheerleaders' dance studio.
The stadium could be available tomorrow too but it sounded like Phillips wanted to get his players work in the weather conditions.
"If it's not too wet then we may have to go to an outdoor field [like Standridge Stadium]," Phillips said. "I wanted to get the practice in pads where they're coming off the ball, hitting each other and we wouldn't be able to do that outside [at Valley Ranch]."
