If this is the worst injury suffered, I will take it.

Hate to see a player taken off via ambulance, but his chances of making the team were practically nil.

I bet it was during the pass rush drill where two guys are rushing against a tackle and guard combo.

It wouldn't be the first time that two DL collided while making a beeline for the QB.

It happened with the NY Jets (Dennis Byrd running into Scott Mersereau ) when the QB stepped up in the pocket and the two DL collided into one another where the QB had just been.

Good point. No player needs a career ended like this. And if so, it is not something that impacts him permanently.

This is just football, he has a long life ahead of him. Really puts things in perspective.

any HINT of neck injury and the medics are required to completely immobilize that area. So most of the time its not serious.

I was about 20 yards away from it. I don't think its serious. I think its a stinger based on what I saw.
