Not sure I've seen this guy mentioned once on this board and he needs to be talked about more.

6'3 305 with one heck of a quick burst off of the line. Also use his hands really well and knows how to "get skinny" to get though blocks. Good fluid athlete who could be seen making tackles 10 yards down the field in back pursuit. I think he'd be a great piece for the 3 tech rotation and can be currently had in the 5th round according to most places.

(If you don't intend to actually watch the videos at least skip to 3:54 in the 2nd one)

Players like him, Kelsy Quarles, Caraun Reid and Jay Bromley are why all is not lost if we miss out on the DT early in the process.

Great call. Love his first step and his hustle.

Really like this guy.

Really? That's what you look for when watching game tape of a DT? How many tackles they had? Did you not see him in the backfield on a consistent basis? Did you not see a guy with a great first step? He's not perfect, hence being a 5th round pick, but he has great tools to be a very useful DT in a Marinelli defense.

I've mentioned him before. I really like him and Bromley. We can get them both late for depth and develop.

Brent Urban Virginia is another one. With our history I'm not a big fan of drafting injured players but if he slips he could be a value pick later for us.

He was also going against Travis Swanson, an excellent center and was not embarrassed. This is playing with linemates that will not be in the NFL.

But I guess it should not be shocking. People see Kony Ealy with a star studded cast around him but marvel at his stats.

Urban is a good one as well. He has some Watt-like traits, I would love him more if we ran a 3-4 still.
