Are worth their weight in gold. Don't believe me? Ask Joe Paterno, and Bobby Bowden. So far, (3rd overtime) 1 missed extra pt, 4 missed fg's. All of which would have won the game for their teams.

How many games did we lose this year due to our lack of expertise in that area? 3? 4?

Go after Longwell, or Vanderjagt. Don't mess around, get a good one and let's be done with it. I can't stress enough how important this is!

Is everyone ready to give up on Suisham after that "slightly" wide right 47 yarder? ;)

My fear is what Jerry said about not changing his approach to the position of kicker.
He said in a DMN article yesterday that he would keep the same approach, because he wanted to build the rest of the team to the point that games weren't decided by a kicker.

No joke! That's what he said! I thought that is so ignorant in this age of the NFL when the games are so close. NE has won 3 Super bowls with a top-flight kicker and by the smallest of margins. Jerry is still stuck in the early 90's trying to rebuild the Jimmy era Cowboys.
