Thanks RS.

Best use for this list is to save it and compare it to Kipers final big board before next years draft to see who rises and falls in the next year.

Garrett, Barnett, Allen, & Walker are all studs - and they have size as well. They're ALL 265+. Don't have to worry about any tweeners from that group. The only question would be is Garrett the only RDE in that group?

Dont know how Chubb could be that high. That was a really bad knee injury, the knee bent in a Jaylon Smith manor.

So, as many of us already said, the gnashing of teeth about there being no QBs or top RBs in 2017 was probably wrong.
Guess we won't truly know if this year's players or 2017's will be great pros for awhile, but except for 2017 having more edge rushers, the two years look similar for "skill" offensive players at this early stage.

1. *Myles Garrett DE/OLB Texas A&M
Beast.
2. Tim Williams OLB Alabama
Just watched Alabam's Spring game, he was literally unblockable.

3. *Leonard Fournette RB LSU
A RB I would have spent a Top 5 pick on. I love Elliott, Fournette is better.

5. *Jamal Adams S LSU
My number one guy for next year for the Cowboys. People are going to get sick of me talking about him.

9. **Jabrill Peppers S/LB Michigan
This year's Jalen Ramsey. So Risen Star's #1 guy.

Next years class is going to be so much better than this year concerning pass rushers. This year had so little legitimate top end pass rushers in it when we actually had a high enough pick to grab one.

Longhorn fan?

No. UTSA grad and fan.

Garrett frequently disappeared when teams smacked him in the face. He is a finesse player that wants to chase down. Physical OL manhandled him more than once. He has great numbers on paper, but he won't do the dirty work. He's also a little light in the pants and plays too upright.

The next step for Garrett's game is making more of an impact in SEC play. Of his 19 career sacks, 13.5 of them have come over the course of seven regular season non-conference games. Of those opponents, only one is from a Power Five conference (Arizona State). SEC teams have found Garrett more manageable by running the ball, often directly at him to offset his quickness. LSU's La'el Collins, for instance, had an outstanding game against Garrett last year behind a power-rushing game plan.

That's an old quote, but 2015 was much the same for Garrett. Against NFL caliber OL he really hasn't shown well.

Maybe he'll show a little more toughness this season. If he does that, I will definitely change my opinion.

Roadrunners. Nice. One of my former players is entering his first year there.

And I hear you on Garrett; I need to watch him more. The games I've seen he looked extremely athletic and physical enough to bull rush and hold the edge. He reminded me of a young Julius Peppers or Mario Williams.

Don't get me wrong, the kid is a physical freak. He absolutely has the tools to be an incredible edge rusher. I just want to see a little more of the dirty work out of him. He had a great chance to make a name for himself against Tunsil and he got manhandled. I know, Tunsil was the best OL in the 2016 draft, but this kid is projected as the top pick in 2017.

Obviously no prospect is perfect. I just want to see a little more of the workmanlike (Bosa-ish) quality from him this season.

Which player are you referring to? I expect the Roadrunners to really turn it around this season. Frank Wilson is a hell of a football coach and already had one of our best recruiting classes in a shortened recruiting season. Good luck to your former player!

We just had our first NFL draftee in TE David Morgan too!
