Somehow I think Jackson would be pretty good for us. Instead of watching Julius fall down and Spears drag his fat arse around the field.

Honestly, Merriman wouldn't be any better for this D. We'll be talking about how badly he gets burned in coverage and Zimmer isn't using him correctly. Jackson won't be gaining much yardage behind this OL either.

With Zimmer at defensive coordinator, Merriman would be playing coverage 99% of the time, while our corners blitz. Merriman on WR's anyone??

And what with all of the 10 carries Jackson will get, it's not like he can do much.

IMO, this all comes down to coaching. Either Zimmer and Parcells pull their heads out of their butts, or they can get the hell out of the way.

Merriman would be useless in our defense and Parcells would have cut him after his steroids probably.

Jackson would have no running lanes either and he's a bigger Marion Barber.

I wanted Jackson that draft, but was happy when Jones was using his quickness. He showed a tiny bit yesterday for 2-3 straight plays, then instead of riding that, we PA pass into double coverage in the end zone.
