The Martin pick was the best pick. Shazier would have maybe been a nice addition, but would have only been one piece in a long term rebuild.

Our offensive line now is close to the best in football from all 5 spots.

Check, roger, hoooah, Sir! And already, the recently added trio project for 10 years from this very point in time!!

I think Catch17 said it on the previous page, but getting Zach Martin FINALLY gave this team a position of strength. And when your offensive line has some depth and is actually strength? That automatically makes your quarterback better, your running backs better, your receivers better....your offense as a whole. Your OC has a easier time of calling plays and has far more options.

A linebacker or two or three even wouldn't do anything for this defense. The defense has a few years to rebuild it in order to gain some depth.

Martin was the right pick. I probably wouldn't have traded the 3rd rounder but at the same time if you feel you got a legit player in Lawrence I believe you make the move because you don't have a sure thing in the 3rd round.

Are you asking if, in hindsight I would draft differently?

Seriously?

That is like asking, in hindsight would you have picked the winning lottery numbers...
