WutMcCarthy needs fired first. (Or not retained)
And looking at the Jerry HC hires, there are far more who weren't re-treads.
We may not have the right personnel though, or they are still learning.Humorously Zimmer was partly hired because he apparently knew how to deal with Shanahan offenses unlike Quinn.
WHOOPS!
Retread or not, they all sucked. Except Parcells but Jerry had ulterior motives there.McCarthy needs fired first. (Or not retained)

Yes the wildly successful Ben McAdoo, Joe Philbin, and now Dan Quinn(From many trees but started under Mariucci). We know that Garrett had more of a Coaching Stump with Kellen Moore being the closet to being a "branch", but does MM have a Coaching Tree?
It's not like scheme was the problem.Humorously Zimmer was partly hired because he apparently knew how to deal with Shanahan offenses unlike Quinn.
WHOOPS!
no HC is gonna wanna come in here and inherit Dak as a QB. That’s severely limiting and is going to ruin many coaching tenures. Jason Garrett got the finalized boot when he was fired and had to become an analyst/commentator. MM will follow when he is eventually fired. If we can't beat 'em. Hire them? Jerry seems to favor re-treads so I imagine it's gonna be Belichik.
I was all for this 3 years ago,,, though to be fair the scheme being employed is largely Mike Shanihan's and he's a retired re-tread which makes him an "old-head" worthy of scorn and dismissal. If we can't beat 'em. Hire them? Jerry seems to favor re-treads so I imagine it's gonna be Belichik.
It's not the Kyle Shanahan tree, it's the Mike Shanahan tree. Kubiak, LaFleur, McDaniel, McVay, K. Shanahan all come out of that philosophy.
That philosophy is based on creating space for playmakers - not flawless execution in tight spaces. It is the only philosophy that works in today's NFL.
yup, our offensive scheme sucks.
For YEARS now we've seen receivers on teams that use this system CONSISTENTLY RUNNING WIDE OPEN!!!!!
Fox even showed a graphic calling it the "Kyle Shanahan Tree". I get they all started under Mike but it was Kyle who is credited with all the motion, jet sweeps, etc. It's not the Kyle Shanahan tree, it's the Mike Shanahan tree. Can we get his overratedness please?Shanahan is the most overrated coach in the league. His coaching tree is more like a shrub.
