He's already been saying that he's going to look for a new team and new contract. His expectations
are for more that Murray got last year. I would say he's probably asking for 5 years and around 8mil
average per year. He'll likely get it from somebody but definitely not Jerry. Jerry doesn't like to pay up
for RB's, safeties, or 1 Techs.

Unless your name is Marion Barber, Ken Hamlin or Jay Ratliff.

Get this guy in here, IMMEDIATELY. Id love to give him Murrays money and watch him destroy the Eagles for the next 5 years. Kid is only 24 years old, has barely any miles on him, and is as dynamic as it gets at the position.

I would for sure want him here but dallas isn't going to pay that for a rb.

Why would he want to come to Dallas and split carries with McFadden?

Why would the Cowboys want to pay him that kind of coin to split carries with McFadden?

I think the Cowboys are going to go with someone like Forte or Chris Johnson or someone who's going to take less salary and won't quibble about splitting carries.

And then they'll draft a back in '17.

Unfortunately, we're unlikely to sign him, too. Dallas appears to be in no hurry to add a legitimate back after what McFadden did last year.

McFadden is best used as a complement to another back.

However, somebody will offer considerable money. Not sure if it's too much, but why overpay a back like Miller. I'd love to have him at the right price though.

The value of signing Miller would also be the draft pick you now don't have to spend on a back.

Forte is the only big name guy I could see dallas trying to sign.

The only player I really want in free agency. Partially because I think his salary will be well worth the interment we make.

He will get half of what Murray signed for and will be just as productive, if not more for us.

Miller would be an excellent back with this oline. I've watched him down here since he was with the Canes. He split time with Daniel Thomas and Ajai and the
boy has wheels.Dolphins line is flat out putrid. He has decent hands as well.

Pay him , and pay him good, upfront. All of it upfront. Make sure we arent on the hook come year 3.

We have Romo for 2 more years, if were lucky. Lets get some horses in here and try to make a run.

I would not be opposed to Dallas signing Miller for depth, but only pay him to be the backup. I believe that Miller is somewhat overrated as a potential lead back. There are much better options out there than Miller, for less money than what he will want. I know many of you do not care for McFadden, but he was more than serviceable this past year, and would have rushed for even more yards if he had been given the starting job at the first of the year.

McFadden has plenty of talent, but his durability is a potential concern. Keep in mind that McFadden wasn't "run into the ground" like Murray was the year before, and if Dunbar returns, some of the carries will go to him, especially on 3rd down.

I think if Dunbar is resigned, we need a sturdy, stocky, punishing back who is durable and who is able to carry the load in the event that McFadden goes down, because I do not believe that Dunbar can take the punishment as an every down back. I think Ivory fits that mold, and there are undoubtably others who can serve that role at a fraction of what Miller will cost, and who will ultimately be a better fit than Miller in Dallas.

He already said prior to this that scheme fit will play a huge factor in his decision. I hope salesman Jerry at least reaches out to him.

For the last time we don't need a RB we have McFadden and Turbin.
