He and Dirk wouldn't be able to play together, at least not on defense.

On the offensive side of the ball it would work, but neither he or Dirk are capable of guarding small forwards.

You would have to move Aldridge to center (which he can play) but that would mean no Dwight Howard. He is also not a great rebounder when playing center. I agree with you, he really does not fit in Dallas unless Dirk is gone so no thanks Aldridge. Lamarcus is one of my favorite players to.
