Lamb: Parsons is trying to recruit Pickens to GB

GB has a wealth of receivers. That group was the least of their problems. That said, I’d love for them to sign him after we tag him. As good as he is, how do you not smile if the unlikely happens. Trading a #3 draft pick for two #1’s? Crazy.

Why do you hate him. Seems you always need a few players to hate on.
No it's just that you can't ever take sarcasm, I others do it on here often and you only mention it to me, I don't hate anyone especially if they've done nothing wrong to my wife and kids!

I mentioned it to others as well.

No he doesn't. We tag, they trade us tools for the rebuild. Win - Win.
GB doesn’t have a 1st round pick in 2026 or 2027 thanks to Micah. We tag Pickens and they can’t even sign Pickens. Not interested in a tag and trade with them because I would want at least a 1st round pick and a player.

Fair points. Somebody can though. Value might be quite nice before the trade deadline next season.

If Dallas tags Pickens I have a hard time seeing a team give up two first round picks plus sign him to a big contract. However, if a team wants to do it I would let them have him for two firsts. That would give us 3 first round picks in 2026 and 2 first round picks in 2027.

I think it is more likely that we work out a long term deal with him. Jerry wants to look like a genius for trading for him.

I am not predicting exactly what we could get for him, just that he would have significant value.

Notice Lamb said it wasn't just Parsons, but other players recruiting him also. The dude is legit.....we are now seeing how talented he is with a real QB rather than what he had with the Steelers.
Not having much at QB and also not having much else at receiver affected his play. Some fans seem to want to go back to just having one top receiver with these tag and trade scenarios. I don't understand it. I prefer to build on the talent that we have rather than trade it off and try to replace it in the draft, which is hit and miss.

Attack on cowboys summed up micahs mentality pretty accurately yesterday. Micah blocked him on Twitter and then diggs followed. Those two are just...........smh

Yea I know I know generational future first ballot hall of famer. Right.

I would do it for just picks. Not against getting a player but I think we need to go young &cheap understanding it will likely be a couple years before we are really ready.
Same ol shiznite for 30 years. And it has never worked.

Agreed. That mentality is utterly and completely incompetent.

It's like telling someone who has been in bankruptcy 10 times that you need just a few more credit cards and a few more investments, and this time it's going to hit. Sell all of your valuables and roll the dice again.

Things will be different this time.

I’m thinking Parsons’ Pied Piper abilities started and ended with his good buddy Trevon.

What do you mean? When have we traded away players rather than giving them huge contracts that blew up in our face? Micah is the only one I can think of in those 30 years.

I'm simply saying that you have evaluate the red flags around a player. For me, Pickens red flags would prevent me from signing him \ count on him to be a cornerstone of the team. I would get the value I could by tag & trade and move forward.

As for ownerships inability to run the team correctly for the past 30 years, I completely agree. We can only hope they have begun to see team building in a different view.
