Seeing the NFL network analyst talk,Lamont Jordan is going to be a free agent next year.My understanding is that he wanted Oakland to cut him but Preist Holmes went down and Davis doesn't want to give him up until after the season. Is this a guy we bring in and pay him like New England did for Moss?Sign him cheap and give him a chance to make some noise?
His first three games he blew it up,then I don't know what happened to him.He would be a good fit here(provideing they let Jones or Barber walk).Plus we could probably pick him up pretty cheap

He is extremely chronically injured... I believe with back and neck problems.

Even more evidence that any chance of getting McFadden is gone because there is no way the Raiders pass up on him now.

Oh, and just say No to Lamont Jordan.

I'd rather apply the franchise tag to Julius Jones than sign Jordan.

I heard a confirmation of your post today on national sports talk radio (ESPN or Fox - not sure) that back problems were his issue.

Why are people concerned with L. Tomlinson and L. Jordan when our real problems are on defense?

Our offense is not the problem as you say. These posts won't change until we get toasted really bad and lose a game because of the defense. Right now, the Kool Aid is making it's rounds about the room and the offense is the toast of the town but in my opinion, we are about to hit the wall like a fat man on rollerskates unless our secondary has ability that we have not seen yet.

I could not agree more and that is why Green Bay is dangerous - they have a 5 WR set they have been practicing but not using thus far.

Wonder who they're getting that ready for?

The DEFENSE is where we need help and sooner or later, you are correct, all eyes will be turned there, not towards LT or L. Jordan.

This idea reminds me of the A-Train signing of a couple of years ago.

Jordan isn't the answer, but it is possible that he could be part of the answer. If Julius Jones is gone, and depending on which RB the Cowboys draft, it might make sense to bring Jordan in, if he came cheap.

An inexpensive Jordan, if he could contribute, would allow the Cowboys to allocate more resources to other higher priority positions.
