My fear is they pick at 4 and come screaming up the board into the top 15 for Lynch. They're are quality defensive players to be had at 4, but just not the " my presence will make others better" type talent outside of Ramsey. But Ramsey with a weak rush isnt nearly as effective

I think Bosa is going to be better than a lot of fans here expect, but I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas takes him for the team to turn around and trade back into the first for Lynch. I'm not necessarily opposed to that.

Honestly, I do not think any of them know what they are going to do yet!

I don't know. When you're that close to the top of the draft, I think you've got a pretty good idea what your options are.

You know the basic options but you have no idea what the variables may be with reference to possible trades.

When I see Bosa I see Greg Ellis. A solid pro who will have a solid career. Not a catalytic player.

I thought Ellis was drafted too high at #8 when he came out and I think Bosa will be drafted to high as well if he goes in the top 10. But for a weak draft at DE, I couldn't foresee Bosa being the top DE prospect available or a top 10 pick.

Just my two copper coins.

Don't think the Cowboys would be sending their coaching staff to his workout or bring him in as one of their 30 visits if they weren't interested.

The problem is with the "sources" because Pauline said "sources" told him Ramsey is at the top of our board when the Cowboys have not even started to create their board as of yet.

Just saying "sources" told someone is meaningless at this point and unverifiable as well.

Second, we know they at least like the player because Dallas held private workouts yesterday at Ohio State and Bosa was specifically being worked out by Marinelli with Garrett watching earnestly.

There is an actual video of this on the Ohio State visit thread, so again I think he is in the conversation @4 but I have no idea if they will actually select him because there are many variables that could happen even in the top four picks.

Yeah but Elliott was being worked out by the RB coach as well. Garrett was paying attention to that as well. We all have no idea lol

To an extent. There's only three spots ahead of us, so not too many variables can be factored in, unless you are talking about us trading the No. 4 pick.

Frankly, the only reason to do that is if we don't think any of the top options are better than multiple mid-round options.

Dallas will draft Bosa, insert him into the line-up and he will be a force.

Best news I've heard in a while! So, I wonder why they sent all those coaches to the OSU Pro Day? Hmmm....;)

Quick question, is Dunbar scheduled to start the season on the PUP? Anyone heard anything?

Calling it...Cardale Jones top of the second. A Jerry special.

For better or worse, coaches and scouts can see what they're getting with Bosa. It's on film. He's safe. Nice player but no unique physical attributes that could make him special in the NFL. You don't take 6-8 sacks and nice run support in the top 5. They look at Buckner or Ogbah and think if they can coach those guys up they can become versatile matchup nightmares.

HEYYYYYYYYY I like Cardale Jones in the 5th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This scares me. I am not crazy about drafting Bosa at 4. But would understand it if they did. But if they didn't take a DE in either of the first 2 rds. I would really not understand their FA plan at all.

Maybe we can go back to the "door not closed on Hardy" comment. What's funny is as a fan I am not sure who I really want, one day I want Ramsey, next day I want Zeke. the only thing "I" do know is if it was up to me I wouldn't trade down. Hopefully it would be years before we are drafting that high again, plus NE not having their 1st rd pick which moves us up a spot in the 2nd, so take advantage of our misfortune and make those first two picks count!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the variables would include the 3 spots ahead and the fact that Dallas may choose to trade out of the #4 position.

I concur with the limitation "to an extent" but with Dallas you just never really know what they are thinking and they may get offers @4 while on the clock that they can not pass up, we shall see!
