The Cowboys have been in all 7 of the other games....including the other 2 losses. They should have won the Seattle and Skins games....but I thought they were manhandled in the Raiders game...even though the score was close. They ran on us at will. They controlled both lines of scrimmage in that game.

I for one am glad to see us compete in nearly every game this year.

I will take a heart stopping last second loss any day over a 40 to 10 butt stomping.

By what definition was the Raiders game a "large loss"?

I felt that we really got pushed around in that game on both sides of the ball.

I don't think that the score was indicative of how badly we got beat.

However, the score was obviously close...and we were in a position to win at the end of the game.

I would agree with you on all points... the only exception being that the closeness of the score and the fact that we were in the game up to the end keeps it from being the demoralizingly crushing defeat that I would call a "large loss" ala last week's Skins/Giants or Eagles/Broncos games.

After going back and reviewing the stats....I have to agree with you.

They did rush for 127 yards on us...but....we rushed for over 100 on them. They had 4 sacks...we had 3. And the passing yardage was about even.

This was not a "large loss". I am not sure where my perception came from. Probably over analysis following a bitter tasting loss !

We have been in every game this year...including the Raiders game. And this is very promising considering the number of rookies that are contributing...and considering that we have a QB in his first year in the system and a completely overhauled Defensive scheme in it's first year.
