Good comparison. I would beg to say David Boston actually was really talented before he lost his mind on body building and breaking his body down with the roids

The 2002 season was Boston's contract year, but there was little goodwill between him and the franchise. In practice one day, he asked the DBs not to hit him hard because otherwise his shoulder pads would pinch his nipple piercings. Boston says he doesn't remember that, but Cardinals coaches and players confirm it. "He was like, don't hit me in the chest," says wide receiver Jason McAddley. "The coach was like, what the hell?"

He was having a GREAT season in 2010 until he tore his Achilles. Would have been in the running for Defensive Player of the Year.

Since then, he's been a shell of what he was that season.

Aren't tendons and ligaments what tend to go first on these guys, since they can't keep up with the muscle growth?

I wonder if there is some kind of mental disorder that leads guys to do this to themselves much the way women can have eating disorders.
