According to 49ers coach Mike Nolan, Larry Allen has a strain of the medial collateral ligament and should miss between two and four weeks. When Allen was asked if there was an update on his knee, his answer was terse. "No," he said. "Whatever coach said."

I hope for the same. I would love to see Allen retire as a Cowboy. Then end up in our Ring Of Honor before going to the HOF.
