I was thinking the same thing. What happened to our running game? It's been non-existent.

For all the talk about the Barbarian, he hasn't done much lately.

At times Jones has looked better then the 4.0 average in this 3 game stretch.

Neither is Emmitt Smith. Together they make a decent NFL RB.

Agreed, but the running game has all but disappeared as of late.

Glad we have them both. It seems like we are utilizing Julius more in plays that are suited well for him. Though there were still several times I thought we could have ran some draws with him yesterday.

They really do compliment each other well.

Hasn't Barber been getting all (or at least most) of the game ending, kill the clock carries? That'll bring an average down pretty quickly.

That said, JuJo has been running better the last 2-3 games. Better as in "Better then he normally does" not better as in "Better then Barber".

One complaint about Barber though... lately it seems he's trying to score a TD everytime he touches the ball. He's been bouncing WAY too many runs to the outside. It's starting to piss me off.

Barber needs to remain in the role he's been in, but we need a better starter.

Maybe we'll get lucky and still get McFadden.

Both are solid backs and nothing more.

I like Barber but he is not an every down back he runs tough and fights for every yard and can be hard to tackle

Maybe the punishment he takes is catching up with him which is a good reason not to run him 20 times a game

What, with our 3rd rounder? Sure.

But I'll hurt Jerry Jones if he drafts Choice in the first round.
He's going to be a late first rounder/early second rounder. He's the 2nd best back in the draft, IMO.

Yes, Julius Jones seems to be running a little bit better. I thought he played well against the Giants.

The Skins played the run very well Sunday and Barber and Jones had to work for every yard.

2nd best? Nah. He's pretty solid though. But he's not much better (if at all) then Barber.

If we're gonna draft a RB, I want to draft one that is head and shoulders better then what we've got.

A wildcard is Ray Rice. He could be on par with what we have or he could end up being elite. Hard to guage him since he doesn't face SEC opponents week in and week out.

HOpefully we'll get lucky and McFadden will fall in the draft. I can hope, right?

JuJo has been slashing defenses on the first possession in the last 3 games, but one thing that kills me is when they take him out and totally kill the guys rhythm.. i mean when you have a RB in a zone you can't just take him out

MB3 i don't know whats wrong with him since all the hype espn was giving him he has just been non-existent

But really the run blocking isn't so spectacular

Just my opinion. I think he translates extremely well to the NFL.

You could be right. I thought he looked good against Notre Dame... that's not saying much though.

McFadden is talented, but it seems his game is speed only. Dont get me wrong, I am certainly not an expert on all things McFadden, I just don't see him breaking tackles or running through contact.

The numbers reflect factors about those games.

The Commanders are a great run stopping team. They were weak against the pass. So we went to the air. Most teams won't make their living running against the Commanders. That doesn't mean our RBs suck. It just shows that the Skins are a good defense against the run (kind of like us).

We have played three divisional games in a row. Those are always hard fought games. Defenses are up for them.

I don't think there is anything "wrong" with our run game beyond the fact we just played 3 tough games that are hard to run in.

I don't have concerns about this offense's abilities. The biggest concern for me about this team continues to be two things: (1) pass coverage and (2) kick return coverage.

In an effort to ensure Dallas fans are the most educated, here's a grammar point, and nearly everyone on this board makes this mistake repeatedly.

"All but" means "everything except", and that is exactly the opposite of what you must mean in your comment.
