Last 3 games-Barber 43/133-Jones 33/132... Hmm.

He's going to be a late first rounder/early second rounder. He's the 2nd best back in the draft, IMO.

he'd be at best 3rd if both McFad and Jonathan Stewart declare

btw, I guess the Pats aren't going to be winning the SUper Bowl this year because they hardly look to their running game

I have a good idea, how about taking your English lesson and shove it where the sun don't shine.

Look, I have no hostility toward you, I figured that communicating the opposite of what you mean might be important. I'm trying to improve the communication skills of everyone on the board, because, hey, it's a chat room!!

Wait till we get to some bad weather games (not just the cowboys, but in general) and see how "evolved" the game has become.

You have to be able to run the ball to win in december and january (unless you're playing in a dome with home field advantage).

It is a holiday miracle!

I agree with Rack.

Dallas runs to pass, this is not a ball control offense but a vertical passing attack that can run just enough to make you bite on the play action.

That being said Jones has the potential to turn it on from time to time and Barber is the short yardage sledgehammer we use judiciously and effectively.

I was saying it way back when MB3 was all the rage and I will say it again now. MB3 is not disciplined enough as a runner to be our sole back, he has too many runs for no or negative and often gets caught stringing it outside for nothing when 2 or 3 yards were available up the middle. I enjoy watching his wild style, but that does not make him more effective necessarily.

I will get a little bashing for this but I think this is why BP was very good for Barber and not so good for Jones. Jones did not need to be preached to every day about bouncing outside but I think MBIII does!

Hasn't Barber been getting all (or at least most) of the game ending, kill the clock carries? That'll bring an average down pretty quickly.

That said, JuJo has been running better the last 2-3 games. Better as in "Better then he normally does" not better as in "Better then Barber".

One complaint about Barber though... lately it seems he's trying to score a TD everytime he touches the ball. He's been bouncing WAY too many runs to the outside. It's starting to piss me off.

Barber needs to remain in the role he's been in, but we need a better starter.

Maybe we'll get lucky and still get McFadden.

:banghead:

And actually some of MBIII biggest runs this year have come on game ending clock killing drives. So that point is kinda mute IMO.

What, with our 3rd rounder? Sure.

But I'll hurt Jerry Jones if he drafts Choice in the first round.
If we cant have Slaton or McFadden, then James Davis is the choice, NOT Tashard Choice
