It will not ne easy.
The Giants will be ready for the postseason.
Why does it seem as though, whenever the Giants are on the ropes with their season ready to disinegrate, they revitalize themselves with an improbable victory against the Cowboys?
They did it in 2007, they did it in even more dramatic fashion in 2012.
They had lost 4 straight games and were 6-6.
4 games and 2 Cowboy defeats later and they are 9-7, division champions.
4 games later they are Super Champs again, having defeated the previously undefeated Patriots.
If the Cowboys had defeated them in either of their 2 December games then the Cowboys would have won the division.
In the first game, the Giants lead 37-34 with 6 seconds left, Pierre-Paul blocked a Bailey field goal. The Cowboys led that game 34-22 with less than 6 minutes in the 4th.
....sorry......didnt mean to stray from the subject.....there are those losses in our time as fans that sting more, guess I had to get that off my chest.
My point remains....the Giants can be the most dangerous possible test in the playoffs...and that would only happen in the divisional round unless both wildcard teams win. In that event, it could happen in the NFC championship game.
I firmly beleive that if they have to face the Giants and win, they will also win the Super Bowl. I beleive this is an all or nothing kind of postseason for the Cowboys.
1.Well this isnt that same giants team from 2012.....and cowboys are not the same team.
2.they still have to get in as WC
3.they have to win WC round
4.They then might play us, but they may play the # 2 seed.
So they have a lot to do to get to play us again.
We get the lesser team record wise, from the WC round winners, they have to then come to jerry world.
Great thing about hfa is Dallas does not have to travel. and here they have their own locker room and equipment,
and fans might do good with the noise.
The Dak EE led team has played good at home, losing only 1 home game, in first week.
So we should be able to beat whichever WC team we play.
The NFC Champ game is another story. but at least it will be in dallas.
I bet jerry loves these playoff games, 2 extra games will make him extra millions.
