I just started listening last week. The Dude on the ticket during the same time is annoying. It sounds like he's sitting on the crap#$%^. He just shouts and strains everything he says. :bang2: IMO

Anyway I really enjoy listening to Nate & Hate. Hopefully, Nate will still be on:starspin

Nate is great, the shows he did with Deion were hilarious although I can't picture Deion doing that fulltime.

No matter who takes over, they need to either keep Nate or have a ex-player there who can give you an insider view, if Coop were to do a morning show with Nate that would be incredible.

Yeah, Nate is great. Very smart and observant guy who has been on winning teams and knows what it takes to win. And funny as heck, too.

And as for the time slot, they annouced a couple of weeks ago that they were going to move the Engel show to the noon to 3:00 time slot, probably just because they thought people would rather hear Cowherd than Tirico/Screamin' A. They did it for one day, I think it was, then it was back to 9:00. Not sure why they changed their mind on that.

She is on from friggin 9 til Noon. So after works starts and basically off the air at lunch.

They should have her work the Noon to 3 PM shift.
Dan Patrick sucked and isn't around anymore anyways.

The Ticket wins by default as they are the only local station offering drive time local radio, even if it is 75% bits and shtick.

Patrick was very good and he had alot of good guests, the only thing that sucked is he had that out of control liberal knucklehead Olberdung on every day...if Olberdope would have talked sports most of the time, it would have been fine, but instead we had to endure a daily hour of his whining and complaining about how Bill O'Reilly owns him and his lousy MSNBC show

Patrick is back on the air by the way, but I havent heard his new show...he is also doing work with SI now.

For anyone who doesn't have a MP3 player and doesnt want to spend 150 bucks on one I got a MP3 player off EBAY for 50 bucks and its great. The orginal set of ear phones sucked but you can get some good ones for under 10 bucks.

Trust me if your a sports fan who likes Talk Radio its worth it.

I actually liked her show, and would tune in during commercials on the Ticket.

But it was pretty hopeless for her on the ratings front. Honestly, it's pretty hopeless for 1033, as they're getting just absolutely smoked in the ratings.....The Ticket owns this town, and there's really nothing that's going to change that.

The Ticket ruins a lot of people for other sports talk. Once you've gotten used to the format that they use and start looking forward to scheduled bits mixed in with your sports, you can't go back to just normal sports talk. Keep that in mind and then think about the head start they got here in Dallas. They were here for years before ESPN showed up in town and so all those people that were listening to The Ticket for all those years before ESPN shows up are most likely not going to switch.

Of course, I'm just spouting random b.s., but that's kinda what I figure the issue is. Either that or the people they have on 103.3 just aren't that good?

And Jterrell big daddy Dan didn't suck. The Dan Patrick show was amazing. He is a funny funny guy.

The only thing I hated about that show is the obsession with baseball.

Thats what made it so boring. I have listened to him ask himself and then answer the same question about the Yankees for 45 minutes straight. Its friggin torture when I just want to hear about my local teams....

Amazing it sucked so much. At first he was good, then it seemed he got so full of himself, it was painful to listen to.

Oh and what about that "Hey I'm leaving in two weeks" then leaves for two weeks and comes back for a final show or two?...What a self absorbed ***!
