Honestly, I'm not crazy about it.

I do like Cyprien a lot but I'm afraid he'd be gone by then.

The rest I'm lukewarm on, but that is just my opinion. Lord knows I've been wrong about players plenty of times before.

I wouldn't mind the trade you put forth though... I just would draft different guys.

To even get close in value we'd have to give up our third. 18 and 80 = 1090, 31 + 34 = 1160.

Well, you never know what might happen, but I'd say them trading 31 and 34 to move up to 18 to take Reid has about as much chance of happening as Empire State building taking off like a rocket, flying cross country and sticking up in the ground inside of Candlestick Park.

Actually I'd be less surprised if the Empire State Building did that.

No sure things here. Lot of maybe they will be good picks (which is what you get picking at that point in the draft I guess). I'd be okay with it I guess, but not jumping for joy or anything.

Or 34,74,93=900 exact value of #18. we could even probably get a 6th or 7th out of the deal. Of course that takes us out of the 1st round, but only 3 spots higher, and 2 3rd round picks. That would give us 5 picks in the top 100--34,47,74,80,93. SF would then retain their 31st pick and our 18th--2 1st round picks . The rich get richer. No we have to look at it as if it's a good deal for Dallas and not worry about the other team. I say it is a good deal.

Well, it would be the Classic Icarus tail wouldn't it? Would absolutely be ecstatic over the trade if it could happen like that. Would go crazy in that split second of sublime ecstasy, would probably jump over the couch, do a circle around the living room, jump back over the couch again, race upstairs, throw the door open, give my wife a big ole kiss, race back down the stairs just in time to see the the players picked and in the end, be stupid silly drunk on anything I could find. Would probably cap the evening off by eating a bullet.
