Last night was our season in a nutshell.

I think we could all agree that our offense and defense has not been clicking at the same time almost all season. Early in the year we were having to win shootouts but we were getting our job done. Once Romo got injured our offensive production dropped off dramatically, and our defense began playing possessed. And it seemed the Cowboys were about to run on all cylinders preparing for the playoffs winning all of these big games. Then the heartbreaker to Pittsburgh, we bounce back huge against New York.

Last night it took almost 55 minutes to get our offense going. Meanwhile, our defense is doing a heck of a job with short fields, holding them to field goals. With 5 minutes left in the game Romo and the offense started moving the ball with realative ease on his way to 2 quick touchdown strikes. And our defense lets up on the final 2 plays, when all we needed was to hold them to another three and out.

Its a huge bummer that we have to scoreboard watch, but I dont mind cause the odds are not impossible by any means. I still think that we have not seen this team play to its full potential for 60 minutes, and when it does it will be a deadly matchup for any team. I guess my only question is when are all 3 units going to fire on all cylinders for 60 minutes? or better yet are we capable of doing that in a game this season?

Go Vikings! may you win today and let us see you in the playoffs:pray:

there's a simple problem...jason garrett. yes, the players have to execute...but their offensive strategy, and adjustments are at a 5th grade level. that, quite simply, puts your players in a position to fail, rather than succeed...

garrett is either incapable of adjustments, lacking in imagination, stupid, or sabataging wp....

Jason Garrett and the offense didn't give up back to back 75+ yard rushing plays to close out the game.

If it's not one thing, it's another with this team. There is no one thing to point your finger at, the Cowboys are just wildly inconsistant and it seems to get even more crazy once December rolls around.

Guess you didnt hear Romo's PC where he said that it took the offense 3 1/2 quarters to figure out where the Ravens def players were going to be setting up at, and what their defensive plan was......yah failure on garrett's part.

That may be true, but I'm telling you, if you "fix" Romo there will be something else that dissapoints you. That's just what we do. It's been that way for over a decade.

I thought the play that typified our season was we finally force a fumble inside their 20, and Hamlin is right there....He not only doesn't secure it the ball bounces in the air right to a Raven player. When that ball was fumbled I thought we were going to scoop it up and score. H U G E play in that game. It just has been a season of "all mosts!!"

Ray Lewis said DURING THE WEEK LAST WEEK that the Dallas offense was one of, if not the most simple offense in the league to figure out. It showed last night unless you don't believe what one of the greatest linebackers of all time says.

The 90s offense was also predictable, the opposing teams back then just couldn't stop it.

We won't go anywhere with this team with the "aw shucks" routine. And Romo will never learn to protect the football in important games.

Thing about those guys tho, they capitalized on opportunities and for the most part played mistake free football when it counted....unlike our current crew:bang2:

Becoming a fan in 1990, I've finally come full circle. I now realize how spoiled I was when Jimmy Johnson was the coach. I just didn't realize how hard it is to find a coach that:
  1. Holds players accountable for their mistakes
  2. Believes that special teams equate to 33% of game
  3. Prepares a team for the other team's game plan
  4. Show's players how not to be mentally weak
I'll always love the Cowboys but I can only be stunned so many times.

I jsut think that we all bought into the Hype.

This team is not as good as we thought it was.
Garret still has long ways to go... if he ever becomes a real OC
Romo has finally shown to everyone that he is not a capable QB

This team is an average team.... nothing more!
