I have an odd offseason habit that is part of my own weirdness, but I watch old games.

I watch old games over again. A lot. And I look at things.

And stuff.

I always look at "Last Season" when there is no game action and it helps ease the dull boredom but it also is a fresh perspective in a way.

This game was one I had not touched for a while. In fact, I recorded it and never watched.

It was one of seventeen (minus preseason) sitting on my DVR. Taking up space.

To make room for my wife's ever-growing "Law And Order" collection, I had to make a choice.

I found myself having to delete the non-essentials and I figured I watch it tonight to decide if it was worth keeping.

These are just highlights, but I recommend everyone watch the full game if they can.

I have some thoughts, but I was curious if anyone else had given thought to how important this game was to our overall season and it's "success". You know, since we now view it as a one and done=great success.

To me, last season was full of some fortune. And this game was a prime example.

The video really does not tell the whole story.

We were on the ropes, and very fortunate to win the game.

It could have changed our season, and the Eagles for that matter.

I'm glad you not only watched things, but stuff too.

I was at this game and I've never had so much fun leaving the stadium. There weren't as many eagles fans there as usual, but watching their faces was priceless.

I watched that game in a sports bar in downtown Philly surrounded by them

Was simultaneously one of the most exciting and frightening moments of my life after we ended up winning
The conclusion was so sweet, but they played us hard.

That is part of the dramatics of football.

The highs and the lows.

We got a high, but it was tough.

Zeke was a monster that night.

On several of Dak's scrambles, I couldn't tell if it was due to his inexperience (fear) leading him to run, or him seeing a hole and going for it with his receivers blanketed (a la Rodgers). But he had some extremely nifty throws (that 50 yd'r to Bryant was a beaut), and he did step up a few times (speaking of this game specifically), so I'm inclined to give our stud the benefit of the doubt.

Thanks, Alex. That game, was without a doubt, a momentum booster for a team already riding high. The alternative would have been horrible.

That was a big game, especially how we won it. Eagles offense as gimmicky as it was hadn't gotten figured out yet. We were the better team imo, but we were fortunate to win that game. I thought I was the only one who watched old games lol. What I noticed in last seasons games were that Hitchens isn't the scrub some people say he is, Lawrence was downright pathetic, and Church is very overrated for some reason...........and Dez was open ALOT last year and Dak just didn't get it to him.

I'd really like to watch the All-22 of that game if someone knows where to find it.

Thinking of buying the package this year.

my often knee jerk response to defend our defensive backfield was the lack of pass rush. Well, I stand corrected where on several (both run & pass) plays they were flat out, out of position, missing tackles and covering soft. Looking forward to the addition of our new, young and scrappy players!

The Patriots were VERY fortunate to win their last two Superbowls. I'll take fortune all day. If that's what it was.
