Last shot for Romo

This is it, it is all on Romo's shoulders now. He has had 16 full games of holding for kicks. He has had plenty of time so see the rushers coming off the corner, to try and read the defense and know what kind of field goal or extra point block scheme they are running, to actually feel the football in his hands (at least the point of it), as he places it down on the ground. I expect to see a quantum leap forward in his development this year. No more easy kicks missed. No more kickers getting their face mask shoved back into their face. No more Parcells stalking the kickers on the sideline (oh, that's right, it was the punter he stalked).

If an A-rated holder doesn't make SOME difference in the kicking game then it is time to cut our losses and save the salary. Just let the punter hold.

Its all on you now Romo, step it up buddy, you are out of excuses.

He had 16 shots at it last year and the kicking game struggled mightily. Enough, already. Either the guy actually makes a difference at the position he actually has a stat line for, or we would be better off saving the salary and letting McBriar do it. McBriar could kneel at the end of the game too.
