I didn't want to pay for Murray either, but they aren't looking that great because they didn't have a viable replacement for Murray after not spending the money.

Also, no question Murray would be doing better if he had stayed in Dallas. Chip has him running east-west way too much for a downhill runner like Murray. He's a poor fit for that offense.

I think it's more Chip looking bad for that signing then Jerry looking good for not doing it.

Cap wise they are looking good but I agree with you they did not find a replacement. Which is why I stated that they have more Cons than Pros.

Jerry and Stephan had an opportunity to draft a RB this past draft and they didn't do it. Now we are a year behind, so next year I would not be surprise that we fall behind on another position because of their somewhat lack of vision involving player personnel.

Apparently, we could have leveraged our draft last year to get David Carr and it would have been worth it..

I don't know why... I thought he was moving up in the draft. I heard that many considered him the guy with the most potential to succeed as QB, especially considering he was groomed in a pro-style offense...
