Late games and SNF thread

Minn let their playoff caliber qb go, so they deserve this .
JJ just isnt ready.

Battle of two 1st Round QBs who look mediocre at best and will likely be backups within the next 3 years.

You are on a Cowboys forum. No one thinks that kinda thing only happens to us, we just don't generally care enough about the other teams to complain here when it does (unless it can directly effect us).

Do you really think we should start a thread about how the Broncos lost to the Colts here and discuss? I mean we also don't have threads constantly debating how Bo Nix sucks/is great, or how the Broncos defense sucks because they gave up 300 yards passing to Daniel Jones and/or 167 yards rushing today.

I bet on a Broncos fan board they are complaining about all that stuff if you want to go visit.
You missed the point by a whole football field. Nowhere did I suggest we should start a thread about the broncos. What I said is that plenty of people think and act like the cowboys are the only team to do dumb stuff.

Only,2 games so far.
Yes and barring injury they have convincingly beaten 2/3 of the Super Bowl contenders out of the NFC who both looked dominant when playing teams that were not them. So again unless they suffer injuries they are the class of the NFC.

An offense does have an advantage if their OL is able to get a head start on short yardage type of plays that goes up the middle. The Eagles might be the best at running the play. But as long as the Refs are going to allow their OL to false start, then others teams should have their OL do the same thing a few times a game against the Eagles defense. To really test out the theory that the NFL allows the Eagles to have unfair advantages.

And this is about those who are noticing the Eagles OL getting a jump on the ball before it's snapped. If there are no advantages then other OLs should be able to do the same thing without the penalties being thrown on them at a higher rate than they are against the Eagles OL.
That’s an officiating issue. It would be great if that was the only time officials made a mistake. Unfortunately they make them in almost every game.

Don’t the Eagles employ a new offensive coordinator every year? At this point I don’t think Hurts even cares who his OC is.
It seems like it doesn't it? Kevin Patullo has never been a coordinator. He's never called plays. I suppose quality-control assistant may be important for something, but that doesn't equate to elite offensive coordinator for a Super Bowl caliber team. They went through this with Brian Johnson a couple years ago, and it's the number one complaint I hear amongst Eagles fan's who I live with unfortunately.

They can trade for all the talent in the world, but that doesn't always overcome bad coaching. We know all about that. At least with Kellen he had experience, and a track record for a successful offense.

That franchise does not have quite the sense of urgency to win a Super Bowl this season other teams might have. This guy, whoever he is or what he did before this season, has been with Sirianni for years. I know that. If the head coach isn’t going to show loyalty to his coaches’ development no one is going to want to be one of his assistants.

Sirianni has been considered a goofball by Eagles fans and the national sports media. Now the guy is moving into the “holy cow” category for an NFL head coach in his first five years. The laughter is dying down. He’s earned the right to select his own OC.

Philly will likely have a new head coach in 2027. Unless, of course, the team continues to have success. All these “great” coaches around the league we all constantly hear about should step up and do something. Beat the team with the goofball head coach and the not really all that good quarterback.
