A couple wide receivers that might add some flash; maybe great slot receivers and return-men:

  • WR Josh Morgan; Virginia Tech; 326lb Power Clean; 4.39 40
  • WR Darius Reynaud; West Virginia; 695 Squat; 41" Vertical; a Back-flipping fool

Spencer Larsen, ILB, Arizona.

Owen Schmitt, FB, West Virginia or Peyton Hillis, FB, Arkansas

lol, late round picks are where all biases are exposed cause people generally don't know a lot about the later guys, so they just pick the guys they know. ;)

Another Arizona guy! Does he play faster than his combine 40 time? I assume he does if you're liking him!

Reynaud is more of a RB who played WR. However he did do a decent job on returns.

I would rather have Owen Schmitt from WVU or maybe Dingle.

Another Name...Doug Legursky, Center from Marshall.

Not that I am a homer or anything.:D

He is always around the ball. I said even before we got Zach Thomas that he reminded me of him, but bigger (and slower). Smart kid, natural leader. Good on Special Teams.

Cogan mentioned Brian Johnston (DE), Gardener-Webb and someone listed Andy Studebaker (DE) Wheaton.

I know all about the underachiever tag , but as Parcells would say , 6-4 347lbs. kids who run a 5.29 40 only come along so often . Plus I think people expected too much from the kid . He did have 49 tackles , 10 for loss , and 5 sacks last season while being double teamed nearly every play . I'd give a 4th or 5th for him .

Very true...

In this case, I'd consider the 2nd rd to be LATE.... UTEP's Quintin Demps (FS). His versatility could help at S and CB.

QB Dennis Dixon, Oregon 6th rd.

I really like Dixon but I can't see him sliding this far. I hope he does because I would love to have him on our team but I think he might go earlier. Hope your right Dooms.

I have seen several publications projecting him in the 5th or 6th rd.

I like these guys as well, Chevis the most. He might be a little too physical for the NFL, but he reacts soooo quick. He just gets right on the WRs hip and doesn't get off, blanketing them down the field no matter the route. If he were faster, he'd be a top pick.
