Packers set to depart

Irving, Tex. - The buses are lined up. Four of Dallas' finest are standing next to their motorcycles.
Yup, it's getting to be about that time.
The hotel where the Packers are staying is just bustling with activity -- and a lot of Cheeseheads. When the team descends to the buses in a couple of minutes, they will walk about 50 feet along a line of fans, who are hoping to get a few autographs.
And it's not just the Packers team hotel. This whole city has its mind on the game. And the matchup has risen from "big game" atmosphere to playoff game atmosphere. You can really feel it: a good, old Texas shootout is about to go down.
A couple of notes on the injured Packers.
I'm told that Charles Woodson is very much a game-time decision. He hasn't run much (if at all) since the Lions game, so when he hits the turf at Texas Stadium, a lot of eyes will be on him.
Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila said "he's ready to go." But I wouldn't put him in the "will play" category just yet. As with Woodson, I think coach Mike McCarthy will have final say. Obviously the players want to play, but McCarthy has to look at the respective situations long-term.
I've got to get going. The bus, er, rental car transporting the JS team is leaving soon. I'm guessing no fans will be asking for our autographs. And, unfortunately, no police escort.
But I'll bring you the latest news as soon as I hit the press box.
