Launching a gaming forum soon for those interested!

As I mentioned previously, I have been thinking about launching a new gaming forum site for a while now, and have finally decided to do it. I have already setup the site on my development server and have started working on the theme, but I still have a lot of work to do on it.

Rather than having a discussion about the new site in this thread, I will be setting up a private conversation for everyone interested, assuming the list doesn't get too large.

If you are interested in joining the new site once it launches (and before I announce it to everyone else), let me know by posting in this thread or sending me a PM ..

Very interested in a gaming forum whether it be console or pc and even some tech talk/advice would be great.

The plan is to support current and older platforms (PC and consoles). I do not want to start out with too many forums as it would split the discussions, so most gaming discussions will mainly be in one or two forums initially. That said, the ultimate goal is a separate forum for each platform once traffic and posts justify it.

Ok what is SWGOH? Star Wars galaxies? Would love to see another game come out with C&C style gameplay that had a large fanbase. I had hopes for Act Of Aggression filling that somewhat but it failed.

I have made a lot of progress on the site design. I am actually doing something a little different with the design than I have in the past, but hopefully everyone will like it.

I hope to have the site live in the next 2-3 days, though maybe sooner if time permits.

I don't game a whole lot, but I did just buy the parts to build my new PC. I missed the i7-6800k on black friday when it dropped below $400. It's back below it again now! SOLD!

Rather than use a pre-made theme that looks like countless other sites who also use it, I created a completely new custom theme for the site. As such, I keep finding little things I missed plus a few things I want to add

I have it live (but locked) right now, so as soon as I get done with the last few tweaks and make a few posts, I'll start contacting you guys to let you know how to access it.

I picked up a RSRock X99 Taichi board to go with the i7-6800k CPU with a H100i V2 liquid cooler and 32GBs of G.Skill Ripjaw Series V SDRAM. 1TB SSD for $250 on a black friday deal. Then a Nvidia GTX 1060 video card with 6GB of memory.

It should last me the next 3-5 years without issue.
