Jets | More about Law Deal
Mon, 8 Aug 2005 05:45:44 -0700
The New York Post reports CB Ty Law's deal with the New York Jets is a three-year, $23 million contract. "It's a done deal," a Jets insider told the Post Sunday evening, August 7, after Law had spent the afternoon on Long Island at the team's Hempstead training complex. The deal had been held up because the Jets had wanted a clause to protect them in the event that Law re-injured his foot. The deal is worth $6 million per season and included a $5 million signing bonus.
