Remember?

I'm a big fan, but I'm watching this thing with LeBron James closely.

I don't like the coaching, or the supporting cast in Cleveland. Now, he has to get past Orlando and, most likely, the Lakers (who should dispense of Denver easily).

I think that the Nugget will go down a lot easier than Houston for LA. I'll betcha' they'll be sitting around after five games, waiting for the Orlando/Cleveland winner, well rested and ready.

Anyway, just one mans opinion. Orlando showed a lot of moxie and well rounded team stuff by beating Boston today...........IN BOSTON. These guys ain't going away quietly.

If, and I mean IF, King James overcomes Orlando, the Cav's won't get by Kobe and the Lakers. I think, right now, that it's a TALL ORDER for the LeBron-led Cleveland Cavaliers to go the distance.....................

It's Cavs in 4. Sorry. Lakers have also shown that they can't play on the road in the playoffs. The Nuggets will steal either game 1 or 2 and go up 3-1 after 4 games. They'll win it in 6 on their homecourt.

Thats what i say. Nuggets in 6. And whats wrong with the Cavs coaching? Like Doc Rivers said, "its a players league". The only reason why Phil Jackson is seen as a good coach is because of the players he had. Mike Brown has the Cavs playing tough hard nosed defense. Every coach cant sell that.

This will be the first real test the Cav's have faced, and the best offense they've faced by far. Orlando has a lot of things neither the Hawks nor Detroit had, should be a good series.

Dwight Howard still needs some post moves, he has absolutely no idea how to shoot over someone and he's got no "junk in the trunk" to establish good position or back someone down.

I think either the Lakers or the Nuggets could beat the Cavs in a best of 7, I don't know why people have gotten it in their head that this Cavs team is the best in NBA history.

If the Nuggets can run, they can't win. If you get them in a half court game, you'll beat them. If the Lakers just do what they are capable of doing, they should beat the Nuggets. Take good shots, shoot a high percentage, rebound the ball, don't turn the ball over and you'll beat them.

Lakers are very capable of doing all these things. They just have to do it. If they take there eye off the ball, they could get beat by the Nuggets but they really shouldn't. Lakers IMO, are by far a better team.

Varajeo is one of the best post defenders in the league. He'll make Dwight use that garbage hook shot all game. He'll only get his points by putbacks or dunks. He can have those. The Magic live and die by the 3, and are are also going up against the best defensive team in the NBA. You can throw out the regular season records because the way the Cavs have been playing, there's no stopping them.

You better hope they can't stop them, we have a sig bet riding on this, sucka!

I refuse to give Varajeo any compliments till he gets a haircut, plus the fact that he's as floppy as a rubber pencil doesn't endear him to me much either.

Varajeo is so sick!! I don't know how you can hate on the guy..he plays hard and hustles. You need one of those guys on your team when you have a superstar.

Oh I already got my sig lined up for you;) ..Just wondering though..do I rock the sig the day after they lose, or once week 1 starts?

Hmm, Week 1? That way all the noobs that show up for the start of the season can bear witness.

We're still a good chunk from the football season though, thanks for reminding me. Maybe we should just go with right away so we can amuse ourselves.

A little too much Lebron love right now. I like him but fans of the Cavs remind me of those pre-Bull Jordan days or Jordan's early days when the Bulls weren't contenders. Then all Bulls fans came out of the woodwork and when he left the Bulls weren't Bulls fans anymore. I hope Lebron does win because all the hype he is getting right now is starting to get to that sickening level Jordan used to have. I will say this Jordan didn't lose in the Finals, Lebron has already lost once. Yeah I know what people will say, 'well Lebron made it early in his career and Jordan didn't.' Like I said Jordan didn't lose in the Finals.

LeBron single handendly brought the Cavs to the Finals when he was 22 years old. His supporting cast was nothing like Jordan had in the Finals..well now he finally has a pretty good one. We shall see. This is his year.

No player single handedly takes their team to the Finals. Every great player needs help and Lebron had help that year getting there. I can recall in the clinching game against Detroit Daniel Gibson going off.

I can recall Lebron scoring 25 straight points from the 4th quarter into overtime in that game.

LOL..one game??? Without LeBron that team would have been clawing for 25 wins. No PG..no real scoring threat(Larry Hughes=joke) and no dominant bigman like Kobe always had. He carried that team on his shoulders.

you mean the game before

Gibson went off in Game 6, Lebron's 29 of the last 30 including 25 straight came in game 5.

Yeah that one game CLINCHED the series for them. If Gibson doesn't go off in that game they are playing a Game 7 in Detroit.

Of course that team wouldn't have gotten to the Finals without Lebron but he also needed help from his teammates to get him to that point. Maybe they would win 35-40 games with a different player than Lebron but don't think that Lebron won every single game for them every night. That's simply not true. Like I said there hasn't been a player in the history of the NBA that single handedly took his team to the Finals or won the championship. They all needed help to get there.

I'm not saying LeBron would win every game for them. Hence me giving them 25 wins. He makes scrubs look like all-stars. Gibson is really just a spot up shooter. He would be nothing with LeBron. Since he can't create his own shot, LeBron spoon feeds Gibson passes to make him look good. Put Gibson on the Bucks..guarentee you would never hear about him. Look at the 06 Cavs roster and tell me that's a championship/finals roster..it's filled with a bunch of nobodys or washups.
