We need to find his replacement.

Problem is finding someone with his smarts, vision and talent isn't an easy task.
Cause, we need to find that perfect linebacker cause Lee is the guy who holds that back 7 together.
I would take a Brady James right now over Jaylon Smith. Give me steady Eddy. Don't need to be a super star. We would like a super star but man at least make a play every now n then and make the tackles you are suppose to make.

Jaylon is the worst NFL football player these eyes have seen in 20+ years. The defense's struggles are just as much a function of Smith's shocking ineptitude as they are the loss of Lee's All-pro level play.
No way you can say that under a lie detector and pass if you watched Chaz Green yesterday

We can finally retire Torrin Tuckers name. The new low bar has been set by Green. Bravo, bravo Green. That took some effort to one up TT.

As awful as Green was yesterday, he has played serviceably, even well, in the past. Jaylon Smith has only turned in horrific to poor performances thus far. I'm not saying Jaylon should be cut but he should not be on the field until he has recovered enough to not kill his team the second he steps on the field. It's more on the coaching staff/FO than anything else.

I truly don't understand how the loss of ONE PLAYER can so drastically change the look of a defense.

We go from pretty strong to a complete joke when Lee has to leave. It boggles my mind

Basically when Jaylon is in there are 10 guys instead of 11.. he offers nothing. They should be able to find a guy that can play at least 50% of Sean Lee's level. That would be a drastic improvement.

Our safeties are terrible and cant stop the run. Once Lee goes out its curtains.

LB, WR, CB, have to be top priorities with off season. Green was horrible, Smith was lost, Dez was non existent (he disappears when healthy so the injury doesn't give him a pass), and Lee was injured again (Glass Lee - All World until...)

I think Dez would have had a huge day yesterday if the line hadn't been so bad.

do you think its because he is not 100% or he just sucks?

He's still not 100%, but that doesn't excuse being clueless out there, which he is. He's not processing anything that's happening in front of him. He's always out of position and chasing down plays from behind. Apparently working with Sean Lee has taught him nothing thus far.

I think Durant needs to be out there. At least you might get some competent plays once in a while.

Reuben Foster was there for the taking but we couldn't pass up on a prospect like Taco Charlton. 1.8 tackles/per game, those kinds of defensive ends don't come around often.

This. As crazy and exaggerated as it sounds, this team is truly playing 10 on 11 when Jaylon is on the field. We are gifting the opposing offense a perpetual power play by having him on the field.

It seems crazy, but it's what's happening out there.

You can put another man in his place but Sean Lee can not be replaced. He is the general to the defense.

Too soon to close the book, but it's obvious to me he shouldn't be on the field. That needs to be corrected whether Sean Lee is playing or not. The fact is that he's not ready or deserving to be on the field now.

I'd say don't play him.

Yep.......I dont know why people would think this kid was going to make an impact. Hadnt played football in nearly two years and isnt 100%. Im rooting for him, but this year he has looked terrible.

Reuben Foster has played in a total of 4 games this season. Not sure why everyone is so infatuated with him

I think Taco sucks, but Foster hasn't been reliable enough to justify wanting him over Taco, IMO
