Bill Williamson, of the Denver Post, reports Denver Broncos WR Ashley Lelie could be on the radar of the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells said the team is interested in acquiring a receiver. Lelie is considered one of the top options available.

Not going to happen. Dallas can't afford what Lelie wants to begin with. I think Parcells is saying that he's looking at trading for some backup WR. Of course the media misinterpreted it as him *wanting* a top notch WR.

Plus, with Ellis supposedly looking good at OLB, I really doubt they'll trade him this year.

It's not really the poster's fault.

When most read a short thing like that from KFFL, it is sometimes assumed that it has some actual substance behind it and they don't realize it was basically a two sentence drop in to a bigger article from the Denver Post that really had little to do with the Lelie situation.

yea, normally if your top players go down you have problems with the rest of that side of the ball.

i've become convinced in short order this is stupid and now ellis is our new shiny object we must trade.
