Since joining the NFL in 2009, LeSean McCoy has played in 8 regular season games(out of 10) against Dallas. He has 695 rushing yards, 2 rushing TD, 144 receiving yards and 1 TD reception. Those are good numbers. They are not great numbers or numbers indicative of owning a team. The Eagles are 4-4 in those games with McCoy and 4-6 overall against Dallas since McCoy joined their team. In his one playoff game against Dallas, also a loss, McCoy posted 24 rushing yards and 9 receiving yards.

/thread

Cuz really what else is there to talk about when a guy who says he owns a team has NEVER owned them. Pandering to the Eagle fans and we lap it up. lol

Whoa, whoa, I didn't know I was in any "group". I do admit I've seen Risen do it, but not in a while. Just having a little fun.

Since we're being serious, I don't think it's ever smart to spout off like McCoy did there. But I'm not sure we have the horses to do a lot about it.

Everyone is grouped. Its easier for someone to dismiss relevant criticisms with labels and sarcasm.

Too bad this bunch won't make him pay for those comments. Our team is soft. Although, Rolondo might body slam him.

You sound hurt. I know you enjoy seeing him tear up our front. It makes it nice and easy for you to pound your chest after a game, and Scream "I told you guys about the devil named Jerry!! Look at me, I hate Jerry, and I told you all about the Front 7" "Cornerbacks? I told you all'

Does it matter when he was in the league? Manning can say something like this, why? Because he has rings, and has whooped up recently.

All McCoy can say is he put up numbers vs us, and beat us? Did any of those nice games have any meaning, did he win anything afterwards?

We beat them as well, we sweep them as well. We knocked them out of the playoffs before. So the only thing 1 can look at is team success, not regular season champs.

End of the day, his franchise is still the baby of the NFC East. His Franchise is still the trash you take out every morning.

They haven't won ****

You said the Cowboys were his daddy. Because of 5 to 0. Something that occurred before McCoy ever entered the league. So explain to me, in your highly intelligent mind, how past performance from players that have long left the league indicates this Cowboys team is LeSean McCoy's daddy.

Don't move the goal posts. Nobody said a word about that franchise. Although I'd take their foreseeable future over ours, their past can't be denied. They're the red-headed step child of the NFC East.

Absolutely. And then they waive the fan card. But if the season doesn't go as they planned or "hoped", they disappear blaming the board members for their flight rather than admit they were incorrect. Of course, hope springs eternal in the off-season and they come back to do it all over again.

How does he own the cowboys? His beating up on us hasn't gotten him anywhere. Neither has our *** whooping on them. So how can he own a franchise that has more hardware than his own? Especially when he hasn't brought his club anything?

We are still the the team players and teams(especially in the nfc east) wake up for determined to beat. We are still the team every player talks about and dreams about.

So tell me, how are we not their daddy's? How do you own a team, but yet still get motivated to wanna kill them? Tell me!

If I kill you in one vs one basketball 10 games in a row. Think I'll wake up next day thinking about you? Wanting to beat you? No, why? Because I own you.

He doesn't really believe what he says. He is saying it because it's what will get him headlines. Jerry did one thing damn good. We are the team players and franchises will leach off of for exposure.

They beat us, they parade around like it's the superbowl

Not really. Woo hits at the expense of discipline within the scheme do nothing for me and usually lead to bad things for your defense.

Hey his attitude can't be questioned before he went rouge on us. He knew how to fire up our defense

You obviously have not considered past performance of McCoy versus us. By all means keep digging this hole though.

I would agree if not for the part where our defense got worse and not better after he lost his nasty attitude and became more 'disciplined.'

Neither extreme ever admits being wrong, just more stupid justification on why they might have been right at the time they said it.

You guys should refer to post #33. Risen has already said Mccoy really doesn't own Dallas. What you guys are arguing over are bad examples / analogies lol.

In other words, he's risking having to face a motivated George Selvie and Nick Hayden.

No that post was him mocking me for when I said:

Seriously, is it out of line to ask if the mods change the thread title? its misleading and while some people love setbacks and failure, the title makes it seem much worse that it actually was.

I don't think he owns the Cowboys. You're moving the goal posts. You said the Cowboys are his daddy because of 5 to 0. I asked you how that pertains to him or this current Cowboys team.

BTW, the Cowboys were the it team long before Jerry Jones arrived.

No, he really doesnt think Mccoy owns the cowboys. If you look at his career stats against the Cowboys, it's all over the place. Any rational person would see this.
