There's a good chance this isn't true any more. Shady is a speed/quickness back. Those types of RB's are often done by his age.

Plus, they signed Gore and Yeldon and drafted Singletary in the 3rd. He's definitely a numbers/salary dump.

From what i'm reading Frank Gore whose almost 40 years old significantly outplayed/outworked McCoy in training camp.

Gore is 36 and looked amazingly spry for his age. Plus, he provides a fan attraction, as he's in 4th place all time in rushing yards, and only 521 yards away from Barry Sanders. Barring injuries, he should easily overtake him.

"production per game played" ? another crap statistic, lol. Not very comforting to the fantasy GMs or the real GMs who own the guy. I've had him on my keeper team since he was in Philthy,,, his production is DOWN.

I have no interest in fantasy football.

A RB is highly likely to miss some games over 10 seasons.

The way to quickly look at his ability in games that he played is to look at per game stats.

Even without looking at per game stats, he was good in recent years and then had a down year in 2018.

Funny how this board believes running backs lose their mojo because of wear and tear. Which was thew first argument against extending Zeke.

But now that the team is down to a rookie and an old timer in Morris, a 31 year old running back that has played for two teams and ten years is suddenly acceptable.

Part of my point. I do not keep up with that team like that so I do not know. But he has to be better than Yeldon. Gore is a freak of nature but come on he can't be better than Shady.

Interesting. I didn't know he was a 1st rounder so I always thought he was a good pick for them lol. He's probably better than either Smith or Wilson when you factor in health concerns, but I still want to roll with our guys right now.

Zeke has had 9 TDs each of the past 2 years. The 8 by McCoy is not terrible.

It comes back to 2018. He had 1 down season.
