I think they're the 3rd best group in their own division behind New York and Washington. I think sixth is too generous for a group that fell apart after Dez Bryant was hurt.

At full strength, this should be one of the top offenses in the league, given the sum of its' parts, but I'd like to see several of these receivers take that next step to become more consistant and reliable.

Fair Stash, but there were two major parts missing - both Romo and Dez, from last year's 'snapshot.'

True, but when this team needed those other players to grow into larger roles, they shrunk at the challenge. That's why I can't see them rated this highly. The structure is too fragile and reliant on one receiver for success.

Just my opinion.

Cardinal's
Dolphins
Texans
Jets
Chargers
Broncos
Falcons and bengals were better but they lost some people I think.

Broncos, yes. Jets, yes. Cardinals, yes.

Everybody else you listed is pretty much based on potential and not production. Dolphins have nobody close to Dez and nobody else that has been as productive as Williams. Chargers, no way. Texans, Hopkins and Dez are a wash and you're basing the rest off of potential, not production. A draft pick may not turn out.

You take anybody number 1 WR and QB away and see what happens

Just because we have dez who might be a top 5 wr when healthy doesn't automatically put you high on the list. Doubt Williams or Beasley would even be in the top 30.

I like the number six but I would much rather be talking about it in terms of Super Bowls....

No they wouldn't but neither would the number 2 or 3 on other teams, specifically the teams you listed.

As I said, you are listing teams relying on draft picks and young players over more established, productive players in Williams/Beas. Texans might have the best receiver core in the league this time next year but right now they do not.

I'm not a huge Williams fan but considering Dallas is a team that has an established WR1, an established TE that is essentially their WR2 and they love to throw to running backs and slot players...he has been pretty productive. and shouldn't be ranked below rookies or other players based on potential.

Let’s Talk About Six, Baby: Cowboys’ WR corps ranks highly. Too high?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...p-10-wr-corps-heading-into-2016-season/page/6

Starters: Dez Bryant, Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley

Key Reserves: Devin Street, Brice Butler

It wasn’t the best of times for the Dallas Cowboys or their passing attack in 2015.

But that doesn’t mean this club is short of talent at wide receiver.

You can’t expect a lot from a team that is forced to use four different starting quarterbacks and whose primary field general misses a total of 12 games. Such was the case with this club, which was without Tony Romo for the three-quarters of the season.

Two-time Pro Bowler Dez Bryant missed seven games and managed just 31 catches for 401 yards and three scores. In each of his previous three seasons, the 27-year-old wideout managed at least 88 catches, 1,200 receiving yards and 12 scores. In 2015, wideouts Terrence Williams and Cole Beasley tied for second on the club with 52 catches and eight scores, five of those touchdowns by Beasley.

Devin Street and Brice Butler are the main reserves. And this group would have a slightly higher ranking if health weren’t such a big issue in 2015. This will be a season to make amends...

Dez is our stud. The aged Witten is serviceable. Beasley and TWill are strictly mediocre.

Look at who was throwing them the ball.

Definitely a factor, but I think that's a two-way street as well. I don't think the receivers did everything they could to help the quarterbacks either. Instead of stepping up his game in Bryant's absence, a guy like Terrance Williams disappeared instead.

He proved he is only a WR2 and nothing more. But I suspect we all knew that before last year. So it wasn't a big surprise to me. That is why I will be watching Butler a lot this summer.

I'll be watching him too. I'd like to see Butler really step it up and become a reliable playmaker for this team as I think he brings a much-needed speed element that I've personally been hoping for.

He did end up with 840 yards receiving last year.

Always as a policy, that would be stupid. The original story was on USA Today...

I suppose the suggestion that the Dallas offense will be a challenge to stop and put defensive coordinators on the spot with defending the run, pass, and play action...but, of course, ring tap and ignore all.

We're it an option, I would have given you two likes.
