Let's be realistic about this game with Green Bay

Blitz Rogers like that and he will be NFC offensive player of the week!

Rodgers has been blitzed more this season than any season since 2008, his first year as a starter.

The Packers just don't have the weapons to make you pay like they did when they had Jordy Nelson constantly sprinting towards the goal posts on every pass play.

The lions are playing good right now. I doubt dallas would beat them either.

I agree the Lions are playing better than they did at the beginning of the season, they are a different team on defense without Suh and some of the others who left in FA.
I am not so down on the team as most in the zone these days, QB play is below average no argument here, Dez being available and healthy takes one of the real anchors off the offense.

If we throw deep, for the first time this year the running game will explode. We have a chance, in fact, I like this game better than Buffalo. ...But still, a chance.

Offense:
We need to do that throw deep pass interference thingy lol

Defense:
Rinse and repeat from last week.

I've heard several say the Cowboys have nothing to lose but their season is on the line. All the pressure is on them because with only 4 games left they have no room for error. One more loss may seal their fate this season. They have to treat every game like a playoff game.

Can we please get Butler going. As far as whipping the Vanilla Offense into a Parfait I doubt it as Linehan and Garrett are over their heads. It took Marinelli 11 games to come out of his coma. Linehan and Garrett have straight lined.

I would normally agree with that but watching the Packers this season they've had trouble getting receivers open which has led to Rodgers having to hold onto the ball. He's made some very uncharacteristic mistakes this season due to some forced throws and defenses getting pressure on him. Not having Nelson has hurt their offense creating a trickle down effect. The Packers’ offense is headed for all-time lows under Rodgers in total yards (344.3 per game) and passing yards (236.3). Rodgers has been sacked 29 times this season and got pretty beat up vs the Lions. Three of his five int's have come at Lambeau which is uncharacteristic. In the Packers 4 losses Rodgers was sacked 10 times, had 2 int's and a fumble. The pressure and hits have caused him to look skittish at times. The Cowboys have got to get pressure on him and if they have to blitz to do it so be it. The team is in desperation mode they have to pull out all stops.

They can't allow Rodgers to sit back and take his shots or he'll put up 4 plus TD's. He killed us in the second half of last years playoff game and did it on one leg due to the lack of pressure. Despite taking 5 sacks vs Carolina he still put up 4 TD's on the Panthers defense. This is a game where the Cowboys could very easily get blown out if they don't get a lot of pressure on Rodgers and their offense continues to sputter. If the Cowboys start getting behind it will force Cassel to have to start taking some chances down the field and with his propensity to throw int's it could get ugly. We have to get the running game going to keep Rodgers off the field and not have to rely on our passing game. The Packers have had some struggles which gives the Cowboys a chance IF they can get their offense going and get pressure on Rodgers. If they have to depend on their defense like they did Monday Night it's going to lead to a long day.

GB isn't playing that well. They have struggled since Nov1 and have lost 4 out of 6 and only beat DET on a Hail Mary.

We can beat them if we stay aggressive on D and get aggressive on O.

I just hope that last Detriot game doesn't finally spark them and give them new life against us. Would have been better if they had lost

I mentioned that a few days ago that lucky win might start to get them going. A game like that can really spark a team we'll just have to see.

if they don't get pressure on Rodgers it will end in a long day with lots of points for green bay

Cowboys D Line vs GB O Line will determine this game.

That's going to be a big part but the Cowboys are going to have to generate some offense with some TD's. They're not going to stay in this game settling for FG's. You have to corral Rodgers with pressure because he can get out of the pocket and extend plays.
