Exactly. Start worrying about December and September, October, November tank. The old cliche' of one game at a time applies here. My December issues are well documented on this board but even I don't want this team thinking about December until December arrives.

They could be playing the Raiders five times and it would still be tough. What would December be without a choke? It's as annual as Christmas.

Who knows how those teams will look come December. I remember last year when everyone said Baltimore was a gimme, because they finished the previous year with a losing record. How did that work out??

San Diego looked awful Monday night.

Commanders looked awful.

Saints have no defense.

Giants will do pretty good against....except in the playoffs.

You're right, but we could play the 92 Cowboys four times in December, and people wouldn't care. Nobody cared last year when our final five games were against all four conference championship game participants plus the #1 seed in the NFC. There's probably not a team in football that would've won 75% of those games, but ******, we're supposed to win them all.

All that said, as we all know, it's too early to say how tough those teams will be three months from now. They could have injuries, turmoil, or just bad years.

All of those are tough games but right now it is Sept. enjoy the season it comes and goes so fast. Dec will get here soon enough

Negated weather itself might play a small factor during the December run. The Seahawks, Saints and Eagles games will be played indoors with only the Giants and Commanders games being the exceptions.

The New York game will be played during the late afternoon (unless the game is flexed) which might prove favorable since the game is slated early in the month. Wind gushes (as always) in the Meadowlands are yearly concerns though and that might affect the passing game. Hopefully, our running game will be very much established by that particular week and minimize that particular weather facade, if necessary.

Playing the Commanders very late in the month could be messy. I do like our chances of throwing the ball against their defense in their house moreso than against the Giants secondary in their house if the weather doesn't cooperate. Both are key divisional games which I hope that weather doesn't play as the 12th man in their outcomes.

True. Which is why it is important to win early to put your team in a position where the late season game are still of importance.

We have a tough schedule in general. We play Green Bay and Seattle while the skins get St Louis and Detroit.

You do one game at a time, while never looking ahead at an opponent. That's how you get beat, if you look ahead at an opponent as a football team.

Then on top of that, most teams have injuries, so by the time we may play some of those teams, things might look different.

So, just play one game at a time, get better as a team, and jell at the right time.

Na, I don't know if we're going to be in the playoff hunt. However, if my predictions hold ttue then we wont be close to sniffing the playoffs.

What sucks is we should've beat the world champs and the Ravens but we choked it away.

It's all good though. Its a new year and I could care less about December right now because the G-Men are coming to Dallas Sunday night!

Before the internet and chat lines I would never even think about the post season until Thanksgiving when you had an ideal of what needed to happen to make it to the post season.

I've been saying for I dont know how long..These first half games are super important We cannot be losing to easy or less talented teams period!. None of this the season is long crap, eevry game is a must win.
