Let's just relax a little bit and realize the Eagles are not the Raiders

The question is when we beat the Eagles next week then what will be the excuse?

I'd agree after with you, but after watching how well the D-Line played together, I'm feeling a hell of a lot better about the Boy's chances of going on a Magical Mystery Tour.............

Of course they're not I mean anyone hit their head and think that the Eagles and the Raiders are the same but did you also forget it's a rivalry game just like the Raiders nearly beat that Denver team that rocked our boat I mean do you remember that game was it ten 7 like I don't remember.. But then when we play the Raiders it's just the Raiders I mean is this place is weird that they don't realize it's a week to week league but when you get into these division games you remember game one I mean I remember game one we should have won we actually played better than the Eagles but we made all the mistakes in the second half and shot ourselves in the foot sanders fumble all the drop passes we only we held him to three points in the second half..

Realize both teams have changed some since then but I think Dallas has improved just looking at the Raiders game you have a lot of players come back and now they got a game under their belt We have the new players come in they got a game under their belt Now we go to two games in a 4 day stretch but it's a rivalry game it's an in division game it's at home if you think somehow the Cowboys don't have a chance to beat them then maybe you need to take it easy..

No one is thinking because we beat the Raiders that now it's a lock that we're going to beat the Eagles But I can tell you this the Cowboys can beat the Eagles we typically split the fact that we lost on the road with a healthy team versus a healthy team and now we're going to play at home a healthy team versus a healthy team historically the Cowboys and Eagles always split in that situation we're not playing each other's backups and whatnot they almost always split..

So given all those facts why can't we think we can win that game and if we only have one more win the rest of the season this would be the one I want the the most...

Just like to remind people that in division games division rovers especially Prescott versus hurt the Eagles versus the Cowboys we almost always split and I guarantee this team is still remembering game one when we should have won that game so saying we can't beat the Eagles it's weird because we can beat the Eagles it won't be as easy as the Raiders but if you don't shoot yourself in the foot the Cowboys have a good chance to win this game...

Right of course you said it in two lines that I took a whole paragraph but I'm saying the same thing this is a division game this is a game against the Eagles against a team we usually split with and both teams are healthy if both teams have their healthy quarterbacks we have always split the fact that we narrowly lost on the road to that Eagles team and I think that our defense has gotten better just since yesterday and they got their feet wet with some of the players coming back some of the new additions were going to be at home historically it says you usually split so we can minimize the mistakes There's no reason we can't beat the Eagles just because it's a in division rivalry game that almost always splits..

That's why I keep telling people you know we did just beat the Raiders but that's odd that Raiders team that we just gave an BTA almost beat the Broncos team who gave us the BTA....

That's because of why because it's a divisional game had the Raiders almost beat the Broncos, I mean that's insane but it's not it's because it's a division game that's always different you cannot predict those games....

So we probably won't win but saying that we need to relax as if we can't beat the Eagles they're not looking at all the facts we may not have a chance to beat the Lions or the Chiefs but we definitely have a large chance to beat the Eagles for sure..

I got a hope though that our defensive coordinator doesn't fall back into his old ways he needs to be aggressive they need to bring the game to the offenses from now on No easy zones no protecting the back end I don't care I don't care if we lose and you give up a bunch of yards or if a bunch of scores I don't care if the game gets out of control I want you to be aggressive that's what you need to be the rest of the year very aggressive...

defensively they are very similar. in fact in yardage they are exactly the same. where they differ is scoring defense. so sounds like Eagles are a better bend but don't break and that it helps the eagles because they have a better offense. in fact its scary how similar both defenses are.

now offensively, the eagles are 20th. where raiders are 31st....better but not impressive. they have scored a bunch more than Raiders, so probably they score a little more against us, which only means this game is much closer... one thing for sure, eagles know how to win close games. minimize mistakes. dont' try to win it all in one play. control the LOS and force the other team into mistakes. they know how to win low scoring games. know how to win high scoring games. their highest output was against Giants...then again everyone seemingly has high output against giants. but its their ability to rise to the occasion on defense, despite being 20th...to win low scoring games when their offense isn't clicking.

the big factor in all of this, is that these teams know each other playing twice a year....that familiarity goes a long way and these two teams have been pretty competitive. so I expect a dog fight and that scares me...we tend to shoot outselves in the foot. pulling defeat from jaws of victory. despite all of it, key is to slowing down Barkley and forcing them to a passing game.

I don't know about predicting a Cowboy win, but I expect a close game and a real slobberknocker.

huh? I meant the raiders defense is similar to eagles.... my apologies if I didn't state it properly.

our defense sucked....now its probably less sucky
